Will Anything Less Than 3-1 On This Road-Trip Be Unacceptable To You?

.500 on the road is good with me. Sure I want them to win every game. But I believe .500 on the road and winning a majority of your home games will get you into the playoffs, which is the goal for this year.

Man, I've been thinking the same thing for a week now. This feels like a trap game, especially since the Bulls are coming off of their somewhat humiliating loss to the Thunder (which btw, scare me too because of the way they've been playing people close for the last couple of weeks)

I expect a very nip tuck game tonight, which is probably going to hinge on Greg's ability to stay out of foul trouble, keeping Rose out of the paint and LMA having another dominant outing.

95% of the fans in the NBA won't even have heard a word about the Blazers' e-mail. Just not that big of a story outside of Portland except on message boards.

Actually the way OKC has taken teams like the Nuggets and Spurs to the wire lately, I'm not surprised they won, in fact I wouldn't be shocked if OKC played close to .400 ball the rest of the season.

You know how it is. Every year the team wins some games it shouldn't win. It also loses some it shouldn't lose. Win streaks, losing streaks, they eb and flow. Teams that were embarassed in the past will of course want to come out and prove they can play, but at the same time, the team that beat them should feel pretty confident. This is the NBA. I expect every game to be competitive. Hell look at the game with LA and Miami last night. Would you have expected a 3 point game with LA winning at the end? Or would you have expected LA walk away with the W easy? Miami is not a very good team. But they have pride. The better you are, the more teams are looking to knock you off, and find out where they are at.

I will be very happy with 2-2. We are not favored tonight and I doubt we will be favored in any of them. Vegas looks at everything when setting the line. All 4 games can go either way IMO.

Durant's quietly making the leap to "really good scorer" territory. If OKC gets any production out of Westbrook (who looks legit) and Green, they could make it to that .400 point, but I doubt it since they're in the WC. Too many veteran tough teams each night.

I doubt we go 0-3 the rest of the way, though.

Philly could be a tough game with the way they're starting to bounce back, but I sill think that we take care of them on Wednesday. Oden should be able to string some games in where he can stay in and be active.

I love the way he took care of business against the Bulls tonight. I'm hoping that he can keep it up... especially against Brook Lopez.

3-1 would make us 11-11 on the road. That is what I hope for. Anything less is of course a disappointment. Being that Roy & LMA played terribly and we turned the ball over a lot, we still beat a Bulls team that jumped out to an 11 point lead over us. This bodes well for the rest of the trip. LMA and Roy will bounce back and now Outlaw and Oden have confidence to back them up. 1-3 will not happen.

I think less than 3-1 would be a disappointment. The way the Blazers are playing, and considering the somewhat inferior quality of the teams on this road trip, 4-0 is attainable. But there often is a game that just doesn't go right. Hell, the game they lose might be to the Bobcats.

I'd love to see 3-1 just to keep the pressure on the Nuggets and Jazz for the NW lead.

One of the funniest posts in the short history of S2 Blazers lore.
