I know we'll see Walter Paytons name come up, but with all you hear about 0-lines nowadays, how come no one even mentions it when they mention him? And Jim Brown played a much shorter season, so career averages arent really relevent. But i'd say Barry Sanders, a 2000+ yard rusher with what line? Imagine if he had that Cowboy line of the mid 90s, He'd set records that would make Wilts 100 point game look like Desagna Diops career scoring average.
Its hard to compare QB to Running Back to Wide Reciever to Defense. Its virtually impossible, unless its like Charlie Batch to Ray Lewis. But Best ever QB is Montana, best running back is Walter Payton, best Reciever is Jerry Rice, best on D is a huge toss up. I like some of the players on the old Steelers team, Franco Harris etc, but maybe Lawrence Taylor or Reggie White.

Jim Brown....guy had an awesome career and did it in a shorter time than anyone else cause he got BORED with the game. PrimeTime you must be a moron cause how could you say Jim Brown's average shouldn't count cause of shorter seasons? That means if he did play a full 16 game schedule you'd be talking about him with a ton of records. 12,000+ yards only playing a 12 or 14 game schedule is unbelievable. If he had those extra gmaes he'd been around 15,000 yards at least.
