Re: Darko gets playing time!!! Last night in Orlando's ownage of the depleted SuperSonics, Darko Milicic played <span style="font-size:36pt;line-height:100%">22</span> minutes. In that amount of time, Milicic scored a season-high 8 pts, grabs 5 rebs, dished out 1 ast, and shot 3-4 from the field, equivalent to a torrid 75% shooting. Thoughts on this terrific performance? :worthy:
Re: Darko gets playing time!!! Hes a project for the Magic. There trying to see what he can do when they give him more minutes. You never know what he could pull out to be in the NBA
Re: Darko gets playing time!!! Arroyo did good also. All Darko needs is playing time and just time to develop.
Re: Darko gets playing time!!! I think he can be a good player with playing time. He isn't a bust IMO until someone gives him a chance. He had a nice game yesturday.
Re: Darko gets playing time!!! Wow...he put up a few numbers when they were down 13 points at the end...wooopy.

I really hope he can develop in Orlando, because he could turn out to be a good basketball player, and Darko and Howard could be a great tandum a couple years down the road.
Re: Darko gets playing time!!! Pistons are gonna look stupid cause i know darko is gonna bea great player... for all that pistons should of got melo bosh or amare.......

Who did the Blazers take #2 over Michael Jordan in that draft? Nobody remembers, and at the time Michael Jordan wasnt exactly a sure fire hall of famer coming straight out of college, nobody really is. And for all we know, had they taken Bosh we could be saying the same thing right now, where Darko is tearing it up in Toronto, why didnt the Pistons take Darko? There are too many what-ifs to know for sure what would of happened had they taken Melo or Bosh or Wade or somebody else.
Re: Darko gets playing time!!! Well- if he reaches his potential then he and Dwight can be a very very very very very very <Censored> scary combo! Two super-athletic beastly 7-footers. DIZZAM

You must disagree on alot of stuff And as mucha s everyone is hating on Darko, the bottom line i: Practice and games are different. Darko needs to start playing in games to motivate him to work harder. Give the mana chance Orlando
Re: Darko gets playing time!!! BCB will be negative in any Darko thread unless the guy scores 100 pts in one game. If he fails to reach that, even 99 pts, is a failure to BCB. Ok with that, I don't understand what Hill is doing. He DNPed Darko the other game, and here, doesn't get a whole lot of minutes. The guy should be playing at least 30-35. What was the point of the trade if their gonna play him like the Pistons did.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Pistons are gonna look stupid cause i know darko is gonna bea great player... for all that pistons should of got melo bosh or amare.......</div>I think you mean Wade over Amare.
Re: Darko gets playing time!!! Why the hell would the Pistons want to draft 'Melo? The year they drafted Darko was their title year, and so they had chemistry brewing finally so I'm sure they really didnt want Melo's attidude issues to break that up. Besides, they already had a superior defensive SF developing in Tayshaun Prince. Maybe Bosh, so they didnt have to aqquire Sheed, but all in all, it worked out for them.
Re: Darko gets playing time!!! Darko could become a good player over the next few years, only time will tell. But I do not think he can lead a team, I do not think he will ever average over 20 and 7 and I do not think he will win a title where he is in the top 7 rotation. Just me, hes to soft.
Re: Darko gets playing time!!! Foreign players all seem to be really soft. Manu is the only one I can name that doesen't play soft. I don't like having forein players, at least not foreign big men. Damn, I hated Tsakalidis.

Are you sure you don't just mean Euro's? Euro's tend to all play a finesse-game because that's just the way their taught over there; it's much less physical and much more about pure fundamentals the way they play. Shooting is especially paramount because the defensive schemes don't really allow players to have much of a post game. That's also the reason most Euros aren't very good one-on-one defenders, because it's almost all zone-defense. Also, the lane is more narrow, which makes it more difficult to drive. They're not physically weak, or low on pain tolerance. They're just taught differently. AK47 is one exception. He sure as hell ain't "soft," although he might be a little injury prone. As for Darko, I honestly believe the Pistons down the road will lament the day they traded Darko. Practically the entire basketball world thought he would be a star when he was 17. I seriously doubt viturally every scout, and GM involved in that year's was just plain wrong about him. He just wasn't NBA-ready, plus I think playing for a jerkoff like Larry Brown really hurt his confidence. I think he'll be at least as good as Bosh someday. I mean, c'mon, he's only 20.
