After Feb. 1st, football season is over. I hate this time of year so much. We have to wait until fall of '09 for the regular season to start back up. : [

I'll be heavily interested in the draft this year. I'm hoping the Chargers draft a strong MLB.

Hey just stay strong, you won a decent amount of games not too long ago. It is only up from here.

You think you can beat the Ravens or the Steelers (and don't say you can beat the Steelers because you beat them earlier this year)? I'm split on Baltimore and Pittsburgh winning it all. Good luck though, Brian.

I'm hoping Rey Maualuga or James Laurinaitis can fall to the Chargers, a LB core of Merriman-draft pick-Phillips could be fuckin' sick.

    I don't care about the Ravens/Steelers yet.

I just want to beat the Cardinals. Any time I get too far ahead of myself in sports, my team usually loses, so I'm gonna take it one game at a time. Ask me if we get there. ;)

To be honest when you said a good MLB, James is what came to mind for you guys.

Lucky Chargers fans, I have to wait until the late 2nd round for Carolina's first draft pick, that's like a whole day wait to stop this depression. I'm going to have to set up camp with munchies and cold beverages playing Madden (Blitzing Warner every play and running the ball up the gut) while I'm waiting.

My Ravens are gonna find a difficult time scoring on the Steelers. And vice versa, except Pittsburgh has the more polished offense, no offense to Joe Flacco.

If anyone asked, I'm a huge Ray Lewis fan. Sorry JE, I'm still a Bucs fan, but right now I got Ray Lewis.

Wonder what the Raiders will do. LT seems like an obvious pick but if Crabtree is there it could get interesting.

Raiders are trash, so they might as well get rid of Fargas and start using Bush & McFadden. Did you notice Bush did the best all year round when he got a chance though? Jeremy Maclin seems more like a Raiders kind of player with his speed.

If it were up to me I'd definitely go LT in the first round.

I doubt they'll do that but its a possibility. Yes, I did notice Bush though. I suppose we would be well served to trade Fargas for a pick and then allocate his carries to McFadden and Bush.

Chargers seriously should be excited this offseason. The might get a high compensatory pick because of Michael Turner, maybe a 3rd? The defense definetely had a down year but they'll benefit with Merriman returning next year. I'm not believing any rumors of trading LT because that would be ridiculous IMO.

I am very excited about next year if we're healthy. A health Merriman and a health Cromartie with upgrades through free agency and the draft will really bolster our defense. I'm praying that Rey Maualuga or James Laurinitis (sP) fall to our pick. I think our LB core would be perfect with one of those two in there. I'd prefer Rey.

We'd be stupid to trade or cut LT. We just need to get him to stay healthy for a whole reason. He was banged up from the start of the year. We need to resign Sproles, too. If we let him walk, we're stupid. I don't think he can be a feature back, but he can definitely be a change of pace back and can be utilized out of the back field on screens.
