I don't think so... I've never seen a team go farther out of their way to design a scheme so ill-suited to one of its best players.
That's because he needs open looks. And the offense isn't designed around someone working off the ball to get open looks. Furthermore he's been injured basically all season.
He could get open looks if the bulls passed the ball more, but they don't move the ball much, usually just a drive and kick. And Deng needs to be more aggressive, I think he used to playing 40 minutes and all the opportunities you get in that time. He needs to split time with Thabo and be forced to earn the extra minutes.
