Checkin' in from Philly. I just had to pass along a little QC update. All this talk about how poor the Blazer broadcasts look, I did a little investigating this morning. While watching CSN in my hotel room this morning, I was blown away at the quality or lack there of. A) they were showing an infomercial at 10:30AM, the lip sync was drastically off! B) And the picture looked soft. Being that our hotel was a total off 3 blocks from Comcast's world headquarters, made me laugh! Rise up my people and let Comcast know they are supplying you (and the sad part is, not even all of us) all with an inferior product! If we stand together as one, we can can over take The Man! Long live Blazer Broadcasting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is a better solution. Get Blazer broadcasting off of comcast, and on to a reputable provider like a regional ESPN Channel.
HCP, what is the recourse of Blazer Broadcasting? If you're taking the trouble to send out a quality signal and it's being degraded on the other end, can't you work something out with CSNW and KGW? It would seem to me they have an interest in supply a high-quality signal as well.
HCP do you know of a contact for Comcast besides their shitty CSR's? I've tried on-line communication and calling to no avail.
Remember when George Wasch had Blazers Broadcasting at the top of the heap quality-wise? What a fall they have taken.
I'm curious about your opinion. In what way would you say the shows have dropped off? It is basically the same crew.
i'm more curious if you like Geno's or Pat's the best? i personally prefer Pats but Geno's bread is possibly the best bread i've ever had.
I'm curious about the story on the OregonLive now, in regards to Comcast SportsNet, do they know they have a quality control issue now too? B/C if so, it'd be nice to know they are investigating the poor picture/sound quality..
Don't feed the troll. He insulted your job performance in his own sly way. I think you guys do a fantastic job, at least on the games I get to see. I also heard MB give a shout-out to the crew Monday, and Rice said something about the meal that you ate that day.
For those who have or have seen the work done on Comcast Sports Northwest by Blazer Broadcasting know it's great work. You should see the crap they put on in Denver with Altitude (the Denver equivalent of CSNW).
