Well this depends on what you need. Bosh is more skilled offensively as he averages 22 ppg in his 3rd season. He's got a wet outside shot and he can take it in and get fouled. But on the other side Howard is a monster on the boards and the blocks for a second year player. I think he will be a Center once he matures and a defensive stopper who is a good inside guy who is athletic, he doesnt have the greatest shot. It just depends what you need/already have. If you want a great offensive PF go with Bosh or you want a defensive monster go with Howard.Well because I am a Raptors fan I would rather have Bosh but it is all a based on what you need and what the circumstances are around you.
I'd take Bosh. Chris is a much better offensive player right now, and is underrated defensively. He can give you two blocks a night, and 10 rebounds to go along with his 20. The most people don't see about Bosh is the limited amount of shots he takes. If he would get the touches Tim Duncan gets he could be a 25+ point guy night in and out. Bosh also has the ability to create his own shot, something Dwight is inconsistent in doing. As of now, I take Bosh, however if Dwight continues to improve at his surreal pace I wouldn't be surprised if he was better in two years
I'd take Bosh. He has that mid range shot and can drive it in and get the foul. Like KMart said he is underrated defensively. But I'd like to see Bosh bulk up more. If he bulks up he would be a Top 10 player in the Future.
This is a tough one, but Im gonna have to go with Howard because of his tremendous rebounding skill and solid low post play. Right now, Bosh is probably better, definatly is better on the offensive end, but from what Ive seen out of Howard, in the long run, I think he is going to be a great big man in this league for years to come. Both guys have a very bright future ahead of them..
Ya, if we are talking about now, I think most people including myself take Bosh. However in the future, that might cahnge

I'll take Dwight Howard. He has the potential to average something like 23 and 14 per season in that range, he may not be up to Bosh's offense yet but until recently...Stevie Franchise and his selfish <Censored> was running the point in Orlando so Dwight still hasn't been getting as much touches as Bosh. In the long run, Dwight will be better.
Bosh rite now is a better scorer and howard is better on rebounding and blocks. So it depends on what you need. Dwight is a 16ppg 12rpg player this season and Bosh is 22ppg and 8-9 rpg. " Am i rite not sure" But i think Dwight in the long run will be a better player. I really like dwights game over Bosh. I would want howard on my team. Howard is 20 and leads the NBA in rebounds...... Not is crazy. Being you have players sucj as Kg Shaq Duncan and Ben wallace who can all rebound with the best of them. This kid is a monster..Also Howard doesnt take as many shots as Bosh...But im with Dwight
Seriously guys i'd take Dwight. His defense/rebounding is great, and we havent' seen his offensive skills optimized.
Right now: Bosh. He is basically a young KG. Great scorer that can score inside out, and he has good rebounding capabilities. Overall, just more of a player than Dwight.Future: Dwight Howard. If he can pick up a solid low post move and learn to be more of a scorer, he could be a 20/13-14 type guy. He would also be more efficient as Bosh uses jumpshot a lot more than Dwight does.
Chris Bosh.He just brings more to the table.Scoring,Defense and rebounding he has it all on the court.Dwights a great defensive player and a better rebounder then Bosh but Bosh is the better all around PF.
Chris Bosh has brought more to his team than Dwight has but both players have a good amount of talent. I think in the future Dwight could develop into a better player than what he has been. It doesn't have much to learn from by his teammates. There are not very many role players there without Francis. Anyways Francis couldn't really help Dwight because Francis has no post experience from my knowledge.
as you all have said, right now bosh is the better pick. he has quickness and can go in the paint to score and defend. he is a very good player right now.

Have any of you noted that Bosh has one more year experience than Howard? Both of these guys are going to put up Tim Duncan numbers.

Both are good rebounders. Both are very quick for PF's.The only two things that I see different is that Bosh is better at getting to the line and KG shows more emotion during games.
Chris Bosh doesn't have the perimeter skills Garnett does and thats what seperates Garnett from most over PF's. Garnett is much more versatile which is proved by playing a lot of SF. Garnett has more range and is not the post player Bosh is.
What are you talking about? Chris Bosh has as much range as KG. He has one of the sweetest jumpers for a big man. He can nail that 19 footer.

That is why I said young KG, meaning he is not there yet, but has the skills and style that KG does.
