When they brought up Blake. What did Nate say?

Something along the lines of "Blake is doing fine, lets not talk about him."

Then Barrett keeps talking about him. Then Blake gets injured. LoL Coincidence?

I think this is good though. Bayless is getting his shot. He is playing pretty good too. He and Roy are MONEY together. You can tell Bayless really looks up to Roy. He is trying to be like Brandon. That is awesome!

You call 1-11 shooting, 2 rebounds, zero assists, 2 turnovers in 25 minutes 'pretty good'? He's had a couple games that were marginal at best, but he's FAR from playing 'pretty good'.

I would definitely not use tonight as an example of good play for any Blazer.

Burn the stat sheet and move on.

    "Game? What game?"

He struggled with his shot. But he was in for the run to help get Portland back into the game in the 3rd. The point being, there is more to a game than making your shots. Defense for one. You will note, Andre Miller didn't look so confident when Bayless was on him. See that is the thing. If Blake isn't hitting the 3, what the hell else does he do? If you play D, and your offense isn't going, at least you can help make up for it on the other side of the court.

He's struggled with his shot? Jesus, that's an understatement. Kid is shooting around 20%. He certainly doesn't deserve playing time. Defense? Adequate at best.

I don't get why people are hammering Rodriguez and giving Jay Bay a pass. It's ridiculous. He sucks right now.

For one, Bayless is a rookie. For two, clanked shots are better than shot clock violations.

Bayless was pretty horrid last night. Sergio was just as bad, and i'm getting tired of Sergio's overdribbling and ball domination. If he could keep the ball moving, we would be much more effective as a team.. but his assists will go down... OH NO!

Bayless was just frustrating as hell to watch... but then again our whole team was.

I've never seen a point guard so completely oblivious to the shot clock.

    Thank you lol

And you have to admit, Bayless was playing REALLY good defense though. You have to give him that.

Yeah, it's totally good. Just like Herpes. In fact, I can't decide which is gooder, the loss last night or the injury. They're both just so wonderful!

He actually did play good D, as much as it would pain someone with your bias to admit.

He was certainly TRYING. He has the knack of getting up in somebody's face and being annoying, but it didn't seem to bother Miller much, and in doing what he does Bayless seems not to be able to see picks coming, so he's pretty easy to rub off. He's pesty without being that effective, or at least that's the way he looked last night.

That said, it's fair to say that Sergio was worse. Both of them were dire last night. But Sergio looked like a PG playing badly, whereas Bayless bore no resemblance at all to a PG. I would be absolutely amazed if Sergio was not the one to start against NJ.
