So after winning 3 very winable games, are the C's back on track or was it the level of their competition?

I'm not sold they'll continue winning at such the phenominal pace that hey were prior to Christmas, but I still think they'll win 62-65 games.

What I thinkDoc has to do is keep the core players healthy and play the bench more so they'll improve in the 2nd half of the season. I know home court would be great and would most likely help having to face the Magic and the Cavs but if you're team is out of gas come playoff time, it won't matter.

KG has to play less mins, he appears to be wearing down a bit. Paul looks good but he's hurt and needs a break too.
Ray Allen started off very hot, but has been tepid ever since. Ditto Rondo who's not looking as impressive as he did in Nov/Dec.

I think they need to chill out until Mid-March and not worry about the W & L's as much as rest and experience for the bench.

    thoughts?

We need to face someone good before we are 'back on track'. Toronto is not good. New Jersey is not good.

I have little doubt that we'll be the #1 seed in the playoffs and win 60+ though.

The one thing I want to see is more height backing up KG and Perk. Powe is fine, Davis, as a good a scorer, as he is, needs to be replaced IMO.

I was never a fan of the Davis pick. Overweight players always drop weight after dropping in the draft, but it's only a matter of time before they're oversized again and useless. Charles Barkley being the rare exception.

And size alone isn't good enough.. ask Patrick O'Bryant who can't put it together and earn the PT.

I still don't know if size is an issue. The Celtics lead the league in rebounding differential at +5.5 per game. They're even a plus 0.3 in blocks :D

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Joe Smith will become available. He'd be a nice vet to pick up.
