I just thought about it but Deng hasnt been starting every game, If he's in contention, He's easily 6th man of the year.
Coach of the year-I am going to have to go with Flip Saunders. It seems like everybody figured that since Larry Brown left the Pistons were gonna fall off and Saunders will fail as a coach. Looks like he proved everybody wrong. The Pistons are off the one of the best starts in franchise history. Not only is he enforcing the defense oriented style of play but hes being a players coach something Larry Brown has never been. The Pistons offense is awesome under Saunders he has them dominating on both ends of the floor. If there was ever a time to compare the modern Pistons with the "Bad Boy" Pistons this is it.Most Improved- I am going to go with Boris Diaw. His 12 point 7 rebound 6 assists per game numbers are great, but the things that really stand out for me are his defense and Shot percentage. His on the ball defense has been great this season. He has frustrated some of the NBA's elite players this season. His shot percentage is amazing for a Guard/Foward. Hes shooting 50% compared to last seasons 42%. He averaged 5 points 2 assists and 2 rebounds last season. He increased those numbers dramatically. If thats not most improved then Darko Milicic is league mvp.

Boris plays along side a guy named Steve Nash who is known to make his players better, and I think that the selection commitee will take interest in that. I think they will think more of a guy improving on a team that is in a rebuilding phase (David West), then a guy that has improved while playing along side a guard that is well known for making the players around him better(Boris Diaw).<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I just thought about it but Deng hasnt been starting every game, If he's in contention, He's easily 6th man of the year.</div>He has already started thrity six games this year, and that number is going to rise, I think that may be to many games to be considered a "sixth man".

I don't see how NOK is in a rebuilding phase, they are already in the playoff picutre.Diaw was a scrub on the worst team in the NBA last year- and is now a huge contributor to one of the best (he has become a legit triple-double threat).

While there level of sucess does not make them seem as if they are rebuilding, they really are if you look at what they did to there teams from recent years.

Alot of the Clippers success should be attributed with the fact that they added a new backcourt!Brand, IMO, is getting way too much credit.
