think maybe they might switch it up and put batum on harris? maaaybe? nate tends to put batum on harder players but i cant recall if hes done it for PG's
In the first Chicago game Nate put LaMarcus and a guard on Rose to trap him on the perimeter and they did something similar against Stuckey (Bayless did a great job that game of funneling him into help defense). Harris is a fucking handful whomever guards him and I don't think you can stop him, so much as slow him down some.
Is going to be like the Sergio thing . . . everyone is calling for Nate to play more Bayless (like the board was doing for Sergio 2 years ago). Next year Bayless will play more and everyone will be calling for Nate to bench Bayless (at the PG spot ) and play some other rookie.
and then theres still vince carter.... i havent watched much of either but im scared to watch tonight....
He's much more of a perimeter player than I remember from year's past, but he's still a stud and will be a handful.
MB and Rice are paid by the team. Quick can judge talent just about as well as Katy Brown... Seriously, how can you trust a guy who championed Damon Stoudamire for three years?
I don't take any of their words as gospel, far far from it, but I get a kick out of anonymous internet message board posters who think they know more than any of them as they spout off about Blake being as poor defensively as Sergio. I just think it's funny.
Blake definitely isn't as bad as Sergio, but he's no Bruce Bowen either. Blake was torched by Duhon ealier this year.
Yeah, he's not going to be on the all-defensive teams this year. I just like to draw attention to the various degrees of suckitude that exist when it comes to defense.
