If bayless continues to play like he did tonight, I don't think it will be a joke.

 

Before everybody starts the coming out party for Bayless and starts jumping on his bandwagon, please remember he's only a rookie. So when he has a down game we don't have to bring up all the "TRADE BAYLESS" threads. Oh who am I kidding, this board is an emotional roller coaster.

 

Blazer fans, I've noticed, are much much kinder to rookies.

 

Rookies symbolize hope.

 

This is how it goes. The next step is to raise expectations soooo high, that we'll just be forced to insult and rail on Bayless the next time he plays like he did 24 hours ago. We have to build them up after one great game so we can then tear them down just as fast.

I can't eat anything in the two hours leading up to visiting this message board due to the ups and down and back and forth... It just goes around and around like

 

There were "trade Bayless" threads? Really? I bet there were posts that advocated trading him as he is a valuable commodity, but I don't remember seeing any threads specifically calling for him to be traded.

 

I've probably been one of his biggest supporters and have never said anything about getting rid of Bayless. Even when he plays bad I commend him for his defense because it's that good (at least in comparison to Sergio's and Blake's)

I also have a shout out to Maris, how did you like Bayless fighting through screens? If you say he never fought through any, I'll just lol

 

Because he hasn't gotten any real burn yet. With Blake out for a while, the "Trade Bayless" threads will come. It's as inevitable as the sun rising in the morning.

 

I did not get to see the game tonight. But I read all the posts tonight and yesterday. OMG we have some really stupid fans posting on this board! I am sorry, but I just can't help it. Some of the insight that some of our fans have is quite frankly embarrassing. Emotional roller coaster is being extremely kind. Ignorance is more like it. My god people sit back and take it all in. Don't make such extreme comments based on a one game. Bayless, Nate, Outlaw....all made some of you look foolish. Oden will make others look stupid next week. Just fucking relax and look at things long term.

Go ahead and blast away. I don't care. I have had it with this roller coaster bullshit from some of you.
