Is it time to press it......? 2 straight losses, offensive looks horrible., and Gillbride is back to his old bad play calling ways.
No not yet. This week's game against Carolina should really determine whether we press it or not. After how we've played up to Week 13, there's no reason for this team not to be the first seed in the NFC heading into the playoffs. Anything less would be a massive collapse and disappointment. I still like the attitude surrounding the team. They're down on themselves, but they remained professional over the humbling and look just as motivated. Gilbridge's been calling plays as if Plaxico were still on the team. I think the franchise wanted to see if they could plug in Hixon at that spot and still produce. Clearly, Domenik is not yet ready for such a significant role. That's why I'm looking for adjustments in the offensive passing game. We need shorters routes with the receivers looking to catch the ball much earlier. I'd also like to see Sinorice Moss used as a deep threat on more go routes. He's the fastest WR on the roster and we need to try and stretch the field a little bit.
He is hurt and supposedly, if the Giants sign Joe Horn, Moss is the one who will go on IR or Goff...... I don;t understand why they continue to run playaction passes when they did not run he ball. I don;t care if its Jacobs, ward, or Bradshaw back there, running it like 8 times at random junctures of the first half isn;t establishing the run.
