GT: Orlando Magic @ Staples Center

Hopefully the Magic will play Cook some big minutes tonight, that way we will win.

Anyways, I'm guessing the Lakers come out strong after the disappointing loss in San Antonio, our guys probably feel like they have something to prove to the Magic after losing to them on the road. Not gonna be an easy game, Dwight's going to be a problem and I'm hoping Bynum can limit him somewhat. All I know is if we continue our lackluster defensive performances, we will get killed tonight. The Magic have guys who can light it up at any time. Don't fall into their trap. Play defense, play hard, and we should get the win.

PS: Sasha and Luke might play tonight

Nice job by Kobe setting other people up, unfortunately we've missed many easy shots.

 

Great feed right there by Kobe to Bynum! Bynum having a good game offensively right now too, 5/9 for 12 points.

 

Lakers defense has looked pretty good so far, though the Magic aren't helping themselves by missing so many open looks from three. They missed what, 3 in a row from that right corner before Lewis just hit that recent one.

 

i just knew we'd have a meltdown to start the 3rd

 

Lakers have gotten really sloppy this quarter. They've got at least 4 TOs I think, a lot of them with Gasol or Bynum posting. To top it off, their defense has been poor, especially in transition.

'Bout time the Lakers showed up this quarter. Good run here right now. Kobe just one rebound shy of a trip-dub, 17/9/10.

 

I love watching Rad shoot. His stroke is perfect.

 

The Lakers were killing themselves for the first what, 7 and half of the 3rd, with those 5 TOs. Those led to what...probably 12 or 14 points for the Magic, something in that range I think. Lakers have started to play a little better here in the last couple minutes, both defensively and offensively, and that's why we've been able to get the game back to 71-69.

 

Good block by Odom and than another trey by Radman! 12-2 run to give us the lead...well...until the Howard dunk.

 

There's still something wrong... Kobe gets a tripl double which he almost never gets... and we're actually in a game... this should be a blowout

 

So Kobe got a board apparently and got his 15th career trip-dub. Congrats. Now lets get the damn win.
