With all of the bluster of Boston and Cleveland in the East, the team that no one is paying attention to that just might be better than both of them is the Magic. They went into LA and beat the Lakers tonight (hooray!), it's just all that more impressive that the Blazers went into their house and beat them soundly, and almost won the return game in Portland if not for a fluke bank-in three-pointer.

I'm still bitter about that loss.

Yep, I still count that as a sweep of Orlando :)
It is nice to know we match up great against one of the elite teams in the NBA

I'm surprised Orlando is this good... 32-8 is elite type status. Guess when you've got Superman on the rise, you always got a chance.

In a couple days, the Magic complete sweeps of the Spurs and Lakers. Jameer Nelson is amazing. The Magic are the best team in the league. Why do they play so well on the road? What does Stan Van Gundy do to prepare them, I wonder?

They are for real. The top 4 in the NBA are separated from the rest, and Orlando may very well be top 3, seeing as they swept the Lakers.

Its amazing that we could go into Orlando and beat them by double digits, and then only lose on a lucky shot. I think we would beat them in a 7 game series.

Orlando is an easy team to root for. They are built a lot like the Blazers. Lot of Character guys on that team. It's nice to see a few teams going away from the win at all cost mentality.

Oh, the same Jameer Nelson most of us HOPED John Nash would pick instead of Telfair?

Jameer Nelson is good. He was good at St Joe's, and why nobody wanted him - and how he slipped to the 20th pick was beyond me. How would Nelson look on our roster right now?

It is ironic to me that we pretty much handled Orlando for 95 of the 96 minutes we played against them this year. What's more suprising is that we crushed them on the ROAD - we don't beat many good teams on the road. Certainly not many VERY good teams. In fact, we've only won 3 games on road so far vs teams who are (right now) better than .500. Orlando, Miami, Detroit.

Orlando is for real...............I can see Boston having trouble with the Cavs, Magic, and Hawks in a series............

Im still bitter about the loss to Orlando in Portland also, but I figure that breaks us even for the Houston game. Most people seem to think we handled Orlando when we played them in Porltand though, Orlando beat us for 3 quarters, then we had them for 11 minutes in the 4th.
