Question on Jerseys

    Quick question... why do the Cavs have so many jerseys in a season?

    I read the article unveiling their latest (the blue - ones) and it stated that it was their 5th or 6th.

    Whereas teams like the Lakers or Suns only have 3? Home, Away and 3rd.

    I know that the lakers have their own Hardwood Classic ones (the blue one) but why dont they ever use it anymore?

    The Cavs have their three current uniforms (white, red, blue), and usually they wear one 'hardwood classics' uniform for a few games a year. So they use 4 jerseys at most.


    From my experience with the hardwood classics, a team only uses one per season, and wears it for like 8 or 9 games (mostly national TV games). Then the next season, they'll switch to another one (if they have one), and repeat the same drill.

    Actually the Cavs have worn 6 iirc: white home, wine road, blue alt, orange throwback, yellow throwback, blue throwback. It's a bit OTT if you ask me.

    If the lakers released a new jersey... im telling you, Kobe would top the nba's jersey sales list like he did when he changed his number.

    Plus you have other stars in LA like Pau and Bynum...

    C'mon... LA can easily outdo cleveland when it comes to sales.

    I'm pretty sure it's up to the specific team as to how many jerseys they wear.

    When my girlfriend and I went to Vegas, we were shopping at the forum shops at Caesars Palace. I went to the Nike store, and ALL their basketball stuff was on sale. I didn't buy an USA Olympic jersey cause they only had Boozer and Prince left. But I did buy a Team China Yao Ming jersey and a Team China sweater, got the jersey for $55 adn the sweater for $45.

    I kinda wanted to collect the countries if I could've found them, but I didn't find them.

    Wait, you saw a Prince USA jersey and you didnt buy it? whats wrong with you man?

    Sidenote, just picked up a Chauncy jersey for 10 bucks :)
