So that's where Joel Freeland is these days! The team wouldn't sign him so he went to work grading the Blazers for the Boregonian.

I think it's pretty funny that he calls Joe Freeman Joel Freelnad - and then calls him out for being inaccurate.

Maybe his mind was elsewhere, after taking a bunch of photos of the Blazer dancers and with the stunt team.

Joel Freeland is having a great season in Europe! In the Eurocup, he's averaging 12.5/6/1 in just 20 minutes per game.

That multiplies out to 19.5/9.3/1.5 per 36 minutes, and he's shooting 65% from the field!

He put up similar numbers in the ACB.

The dude has filled out and is now 6-11 250, he's athletic and powerful. He could be this offseason's "Rudy Fernandez" story, and could very well be our answer to the backup PF problem. Get this guy in here over Frye!

I can't wait to see how he does in Summer League. If he turns out to be a decent I might finally forgive KP for taking him and passing on Paul Millsap THREE times (30, 31 and 45). Millsap, would be the perfect back-up PF for this team and would help erase our "Charmin" image. Let's hope Freeland can do the same.
