Being that it's on KGW and a home game, one would think that it would be in HD. However, who knows, the HD truck might need an oil change and be unavailable.

Will it be in HD for the League Pass viewers all over the country?

DirectTV shows the game as NOT in HD. Whatever that means.

It's also not on HD on League Pass, at least in my area.

Related question that perhaps HCP can weigh in on: what determines whether or not a game will be in HD? I've noticed that sometimes comcast will have the HD version on 788 and other times only the SD on 37?

Home games are HD - Away games are not (except for a couple, not sure which ones).

That's the thing--if it was only home games I'd get it but it seems like a random away game here and there are also on 788 in HD.

Well, since they are at home, we can hunt the fuckers down and burn their non-HD van?

HCP does not respond to threads on Wednesdays. Just thought you all should know that.

That's not necessarily true. A home game not too long ago was in SD, because the truck they wanted to use was unavailable, hence my "oil change" joke. My question is, why do they need a truck at all? Can't Allen dig through his couch for some loose change and outfit the internal Rose Garden production studio with HD Output? They feed an HD signal through the RG to the scoreboard, what's the difference?

My guess is that Paul Allen doesn't want to pay for something that his TV contract should already have covered.

Whoever signed the TV deal needs to be canned if they haven't been already.

ALL of my League Pass games on Comcast here in Cali are in 100% low-def glory . . . all the time. Fuckers.

Pre-game show is in SD. Not a good sign.
