roy needs to stop trying to show up lebron and start moving the ball and hitting the open man instead of going 1 on 3 all the time.
Blazers played terrible that half, and Cleveland played great. The Cavs *HAVE* to cool off that shooting some in the 3rd. Blazers are not out of this game by a long shot. Plus hopefully the reffing will be a bit more even.
And he came in off the bench and immediately drained a 3 cold ... he didn't get it going too much, but I'd call that an aberration.
yeah, but Mo Williams is actually a good rotation player, not shit player having a good game against the blazers
I had decided I wasn't even going to post in these current times.... Too much going on at home, at work, in the US, in the world..... I've been quite busy. BUT....these refs are too terrible not to post. Roy has been hammered, beaten, raped, and I think I saw some flesh torn off his body....and no fouls have been called. This is a very one-sided game in terms of officiating. The real problem? As good as Roy is, or could potentially be, he's not a superstar. He will never quite be. He's not the same type of player Mitch Richmond was, but it's the same quandry. Very solid player, in fact, one of the better players at his position in his era. But never quite the unstoppable player that superstars are....so close, on the brink, inches away, grasping on the peak of the mountain....but just not quite there. I LOVE Roy. More than most, as much as many. But I don't think his ceiling is quite there. This brings on a whole 'nother issue......Maybe I'm channeling Quick (this is worse than being told I'm like my mother or father).... That being said, we need a guy like Aldridge or Oden to step in our as true superstar. Don't get me wrong, as long as Roy is here, he's our numero uno, running the show in terms of where the ball flows through and in terms of overall leadership. However, I believe, to get the true resepct of the officials, the fans, and the opponents, we need Oden or Aldridge to reach their ceiling. I hope I'm wrong. But it just seems to me, with this being Roy's third season and the accolades he has already received, he'd earn some respect. Yet, it hasn't happened. The good news with Roy's work ethic, he can continue to grow. Even better, Oden has shown flashes of dominance/brilliance. Even better, Aldridge has the potential to be what many felt Sheed would reach: a dominant force in his era that could control the game. Let's hope for all three.
Uhhh...did you watch the game against Phoenix? Roy is injured right now...outside of this bad streak due to his injury, he's been phenomenal......
I mean, that just shows you how littler respect we get. A crap foul called on Batum, but Pavlovic just traveled up top, no call.
There should be some kind of law that forbids that name from ever being mentioned. Better yet, can we have that name censored? So instead of seeing it written out, we see ***** ****?
these offensive foul calls on oden have been bad. lebron is knocking down his jumpers tonight. it's a bad sign for portland when he's got the long twos falling.
