28 and 16 in his last 5 games, playing out of his mind, single-handildly beat the Celtics a few nights back. I love watching him play, he has such a unique style of basketball. Keep it up Marion.
He's really stepping his game up, the most complete player in the NBA, and while he wont win 1st team, he does deserve it.

Have you ever seen Marion hit a consistent pull up jumper?
I was reading a stat somewhere that 70 percent's of Marion points are assisted. And he can be stopped, Bruce bowen will.

Yeah, that's good BCB...Nash does help but Marion was doing just as good in the years before Nash and there was no difference in his game last year. And Nash does not help him with rebounds, steals and blocks. After the all-star game he has just been incredible. I think he's trying hard to get some respect. He was mad when Yao won player of the week instead of him and you all know what he did yesturday.
The teams success wasn't there without Nash though. I'm sure Shawn Marion is much better with Nash than without.
He hasn't played better because of Nash.Hmm, lets see, what's better... Marion, Amare(2nd year) and a Joe Johnson and Barbosa(rookie) that weren't that good yet. Or...Marion and 9 other players that can play and that coaching staff...hmmm. They have a much better team and even last year we had a more experienced Amare and JJ. It isn't because of Nash that Marion is doing well. He always was doing good. It didn't matter if it was Stephon Marbury passing to him, nobody good passing to him, or Steve Nash. Look at his stats, he does better in some things but does worse than others like assists. All of his stats are close though.Nash didn't make Amare or Marion who they are. They would do just as good without him...give or take a few points. Nash helps others more though, not really those two.
