Raptors already looking better with Calderon back at point.

Tyrus just had a nasty dunk on O'Neal...Trade him after this game while his value is high.

Thomas has been impressive as hell so far this game.

Gray is surprisingly effective for short stretches.

Toronto hit a lot of shots with hands in their faces. And the Bulls can't seem to take care of the ball. You wouldn't expect BG to be the guy with the fewest TO's.

    Game Recap:

    Calderon could not miss.

    Raptors in general shot well.

Bulls have little post game without Gooden.

Thomas has a terrible offensive game. He has no post moves, and his offense facing the basket is nearly as bad. His jumper range is about free throw line, and he has clumsy moves driving the basket. Defensively, I would trade all his fancy blocks for a guy who can get 10 + rebounds a game.

Rose needs to add a reliable 3 point shot to his offensive game. Would force defenders to stop sagging back on him, and add a good 6 points a game to his scoring. Note on his defense. Calderon was awesome, but why can't the Bulls help guard the pick and roll better? I see Rose get picked constantly, yet no player steps in to help out.

Deng was soso. Defensively he was active, and offensively wasn't terrible.

Hinrich I thought played fairly well. Made some turnovers, but really was the only player on the Bulls with a reliable jumpshot today

Gordon was soso. Didn't really light it up from the outside, but I liked the way he at least tried to attack the rim and draw fouls.

Noc was Noc. Hit some threes, but plays bonehead defense.

Noah was Noah. His offense is pretty much regulated to the occasional o-rebound. Will he ever work on his shooting form? He can rebound, and foul.

Gray showed flashes in the post, but too slow.

I hate this team. No fun to watch, just winding down till we get a new coach and prey for a 2010 miracle.

We scored 2 points after Vinny took Gordon out. He should be fired. Gordon had 9 points in the fourth quarter, and was the only one really going offensively at that point. There are two major problems with what Vinny. 1. In general, it is dumb to have Gordon on the bench in the fourth, he is always a threat to go off, but more importantly 2. Ben Gordon already had 9 points in the quarter, and was the only one doing anything.

It's not that difficult of a coaching concept to leave the hot hand in when there is 3 1/2 minutes left in the game, and it's still a winnable game.

Wow this team is numbing. I'm wondering if Noah and Thomas are pretty close to ruined at this point. Watching them reminds me very much of watching Curry and Chandler in the pre-skiles, pre-AD era. You can see flashes of talent and then you see games where they foul out in 10 minutes, contributing nothing but 3 TOs to the statline.

And Thomas... is getting pretty close to officially rebounding like Eddy Curry. He's like bizzarro Eddy... completely different in every way except the end result of being a one-trick pony who generally doesn't rebound worth shit.

Heh, that's a season recap too. :sigh:

What we really need is some direction from the top.

Is there anyone in the league (besides Larry Hughes) who wouldn't make that pass? It wasn't a hard pass.
