The lineups have been announced and Dwight Howard is the Eastern Conference starting center. On top of that he was the first person in history to receive over 3 million votes. Amazing stuff by the superman.
Not surprising, but three million votes are a ton. Can we all agree Dwight is the best center in the league? Right now it isn't even close IMO. Dwight is playing on a different level.
Agreed, you're pretty much correct. Dwight Howard has no competition in the Eastern Conference so it's obvious you should be voting for him. He's going to be a starting all star for the rest of his career. And I completely agree, he's the best center in the league, no doubt. Yao Ming isn't near his level right now. It's a two man race for the top center spot between the two. But the competition isn't close.
Dwight is one of the most athletic, likable, and dominant players in the NBA. Not to mention he can put on a show with his dunks. All of those things together make him a lock as a starter for the next decade.
Hopefully this opens the eyes of the NBA marketing people. The fans want more Superman and no more spoon feeding us LeBron as the face of the league.
yeah lets not do that actually im completely content with lebron... id rather see just lebron than yi jianlian in the starting lineup of the east in the allstar game.
