He's destroyed this franchise and closed the window for this team to win a title. A few seasons ago everyone was raving at how great a player Steve Nash was. This year he's fallen out of the limelight and he's even talking about moving on when his time is up in Phoenix. When D'Antoni was here Nash would never make those statements.

The latest rumblings now are Amare looking to leave Phoenix when his contract is up.

The Shaq experiment has been a bust because this roster wasn't designed to win in the halfcourt. Shaq is having a solid season, but he hasn't beend the defensive game changer the Suns were hoping for.

Recently the team has lost 5 of it's last 6 games including losses to the TWolves, Knicks & Bobcats.

Phoenix is only 12-8 at home this year and if the playoffs started right now they'd be in the draft lottery.

I agree Kerr has wasted the Suns. He went out and got Shaq last year on an uptempo team, then this year he goes and gets J-Rich for a halfcourt team. These are 2 moves that are sabotaging the coaches and he if by far the worse GM in the NBA besides Chris Wallace. He's the new Isaiah Thomas of the NBA.....

Every single move Kerr has made since he has taken over has pretty much failed. I guess the J-Rich trade wasn't too bad, but it hasn't helped them at all, and Boris Diaw has been playing great under Larry Brown.

That, along with the stinginess of their owner to sell away all their draft picks have killed the team. If the owner wasn't so cheap, the Suns could've won a championship by now.

Steve Kerr is a moron. I understand his vision, and it's not a bad one, because defense is, at least historically, what wins championships. The only issue is that his vision is flawed because of the team. This team isn't a team that's built to run a halfcourt, defense oriented team. They're built to get out and run and play that free-form offense they were known for under D'Antoni. Steve Kerr, for whatever reason, wants to think otherwise. But lets face it, this team isn't built to play defense, and because of Shaq, they're not able to run as well now either.

The Suns were still so competitive even before they traded for Shaq, I believe they had the best record in the West and might have been an Amare Suspension away from a title before. After the Lakers got Pau Gasol, it would seem Kerr freaked out a bit, and traded for Shaq and his ugly contract.

There's been no consistency to his moves. It's like he changes his vision for this team after every move he makes. I thought one of the dumbest was when he traded away Kurt Thomas right after he'd given an admirable defensive performance against Tim Duncan in the playoffs. He was the perfect player for the team: he didn't need shots, he rebounded hard, was a good clubhouse leader, and was solid defensively. Instead you replace him with Shaquille O'Neal, who has always been a weak defensive player.

Sarver and Kerr are both from Tuscon, Mexico, having attended U of A; Lute Olson helped screw us out of a Championship by suggesting Kerr to Sarver who must've felt he had what it took to be a GM. Kerr should be fired, but honestly the next guy isn't going to do much better because Sarver has no idea what he's doing, he's too involved in a business he knows nothing about and he's too cheap.

I can't blame trading the Luol Deng pick, they had Marion & Joe Johnson and that money went to signing Nash & Q-Rich that same summer. Besides I'm not so sure that was Sarver's decision, he either just bought the team or was in the process of buying them that year, I have a feeling Brian Colangelo had more to do with trading that pick than Sarver. Trading the Nate Robinson pick was also probably another good move, it landed us Kurt Thomas who had a lot to do with Amare becoming an elite player, it got Q-Rich off our books (which remember was also supposed to help us keep Joe Johnson), and let's face it Nate's a bit of a thug.

The two picks that were huge mistakes were trading Rajon Rondo and Sergio Rodriguez -- granted I didn't know Rondo at the time and couldn't have cared less but I spent that whole draft hoping to land Rodriguez and was extremely happy when the name was picked until they mentioned it was for another team. We needed a backup PG, they drafted two but instead they signed Banks for twice what Rondo & Sergio would cost combined. The pick they really wanted that year was Thabo Sefolosha, so when they couldn't trade up to get him they gave up apparently (didn't their scouts have YouTube? Sergio was like Ricky Rubio is now).

As for Rudy Fernandez, we had Marion, Bell, Diaw, Barbosa -- so not much room for him; my problem with that pick was why not draft Tiago Splitter? Many sites had him in their Top 10 in previous drafts and he won't come over for a few years, so they can't claim salary cap relief as he wouldn't have counted against it, instead Sarver earned himself $1-$3 million. Portland has made a killing off of us, having a Microsoft billionaire as an owner would be nice.

Now Sarver's meddling in his on-court product. He himself is pitching Amare to other teams, and probably fucking up their chances of getting a quality deal in return. Guy is one stupid fuck.
