Damn... I love Pulver, love his attitude, such a great guy, I hope they give him an easy W next fight.

man that sucked. Varner was on two feet for a second and ducked back down. The way he was acting and talking about his eyes, I don't think Varner was bs'ing or anything. it was a great fight up until then.
So close to calling that one! Cerrone had a triangle choke locked in at the end of the third but Varner was saved by the bell. Damn. Varner got on his feet but he still had his hand down so it was 3-points, which makes it illegal. Tough break for Cerrone who had every right to throw that knee because it seemed like Varner was on his way up. Varner saw it coming and dropped back down and caught it on the edge of the eye. I would trust Varner's complaint if he wasn't the same guy who called a timeout in a fight to put his mouthpiece back in. I would trust him even more if he hadn't gone sideways after the fight and talked about having a broken hand. But I just don't know. Overall another fantastic night of fights from the WEC. This is an organization that always delivers.
it was a great fight, but damn I hate how it ended... I think Cerrone was definitely the fresher fighter... who knows what would have happened. Cerrone needs to work on his wrestling in a big way though. Couldn't stop the take downs, couldn't control Varner the two times he was on top. Varner got right back up.
