vs Cha @ Min @ Mem @ NY @ Tor @ Bos @ Cle vs Okl @ Uta - - - - - - - - - allstar break vs Atl @ GS vs NO @ Min @ Okl vs Pho @ Den That's basically our schedule for the next two months. I highlighted the teams that can give us a challenge, and only found three. Obviously that doesn't mean it's going to be easy, but our schedule at face value doesn't look too difficult, a lot of below .500 / average teams. But knowing the Lakers, they'll probably get bored and start playing down to competition. Hopefully they'll prove me wrong. Also, the traveling could be a big factor as well, but I don't think it should be that big of a deal.
I have the Boston game circled. We just need to play with the same conviction we did against the Spurs today. The starters need to take a commanding lead and then the bench needs to do their job and close it out while Kobe, Fisher, Gasol & Bynum rest for the entire 4th quarter.
That would be something if the bench could play the entire 4th. Should be an awesome game. I'm looking forward to the Boston and the Cleveland games.
Denver might also be a challenge. Nene has been playing great recently, and they're a much better team with Billups in that lineup.
^yup... Boston is the 2nd of a back to back (1st is toronto) then we get 1 or 2 days rest then on to cleveland... i'd seriously be contented if we win just 1 of those games. Those 2 teams will be looking to kill us if they get the opportunity, given what we did to them in LA
