Well if you were actually watching the mavs lately they are dealing with a lot of injuries. If you keep bringing up the spurs injuries than you might as well bring up the mavs injuries. They have been falling like flies lately and I had a lot of doubt before the game because of it. Dirk, Howard, and Harris. To me those are the 3 of the 4 most important players on the mavs but I guess your hate of the mavs is blinded by that.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Dirk, Howard, and Harris.</div>Dirk was fine and so was Howard for the Spurs game. Howard was basically keeping us in the game for the most part. The fall where he landed awkwardly didn't affect him in the Spurs game until the Cats game where he tweaked it more badly and had to leave. And Dirk was putting up 30+ in the previous 3 games, he was fine. Harris obviously out and it hurt. But you can't sit on that. This is the luxury of a deep team, you even said it yourself were deep. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>the reason i'm saying his excuses ain't ligit is because he was running up and down spurstalk talkin about how great the mavs are and saying if bowen had to guard him he'd tear him apart. and now all of a sudden ya'll are dealing with injury problems, it's just funny how they were healthy and gonna tear bowen apart and now he's dealing with a sprained ankle</div>Ok, yea that's pretty bad to talk before a game like that.
damn mavsfan, you might as well give it up, even your fellow fan is shutting your excuses down. and now you had doubt? it sure didn't seem like it the week before the game on spurstalk.
I wouldn't say that. They just don't like making excuses but it is obvious the mavs aren't even close to 100%. 2 of the 3 games this year the mavs weren't close to 100% and the only game they were is when they blew you guys out. It figures a spurs fan would totally ignore that battle and instead bring up a game where the mavs weren't right. Anytime where Howard and Dirk aren't 100% is a loss waiting to happen.

You're wrong. I knew the mavs were in trouble as soon as Howard, Harris, and Dirk went down. The mavs are powerful when they are right but it isn't right now. Anyways the mavs are better without Stackhouse.

Also, you can't look at the only game we won, and say that's how it would have been. So far, Spurs have debunked that game with 2 wins. And it's not healthy, it's mental breakdowns that have lost both games. And no were not better without Stackhouse. You do realize he's key off our bench, he brings grittiness and toughness. The F'em attitude Nick used to bring us. We need that, and we need his ability to get to the line.

koopa is just a mavs hater. I disagree that Stackhouse helps our team because we got a defensive stopper in Griffin and an all around player in Daniels to take his place. Also who was the one leaving Finley open? Stackhouse. I don't like what he brings to this team or any team in matter. Koopa please stop trolling the mavs forum. Thanks.

He may not be the best defender but he tries. Fin was not open, Stack would get up onto Fin but Fin would do his trademark fadeaway. You can't guard that when Fin was on a streak. Also, you seem to forget that one block Stack had on a Fin dunk. Also, Daniels is no better then Stack, he turns it over as well. And shoots it more often. Stack is better suited because of his experience and ability to get to the line. Also, his tenacity to never quit. Watch the Raps game, and he was one of the reasons we were in that game. Also, since he's been back, he's kept us in games. In addition, last year's playoffs should serve as a reason we need Stack. Oh and Koopa isn't a troll, he's been on BBW before you, and knows his stuff.

Stackhouse is one of the worst shooters percentage wise in nba history. No player should be shooting below 40% ever. If Stackhouse had Jason Kidd's passing ability I might forgive his bad shooting but not only that he can't defend anybody. He occasionally makes big plays but his lapses on defense frustrate me big time. Daniels has better handles and passing ability along with his defense. Griffin is a defensive stopper and occasionally makes plays. Dallas is usually up by 10 points by the time Stackhouse comes in and it immediately shrinks. I don't understand why people keep defending this guy. He is just as much to blame as Van Horn. Stackhouse is selfish while Van Horn is scared. Neither are good traits in the playoffs.

Daniels or Howard on the fast break, look out for a turnover, both have tunnel vision on fastbreaks. But I don't get how you can say Stack is selfish but defend Daniels. Daniels needs 10 shots to score 20 pts. Stack doesn't because he gets to the line and converts. That's a joke, our lead shrinks when Stackhouse comes in, what games have you been watching. It's mostly our starters who dig us a hole, and our bench who outscores their opponents by half that comes in and gets us back in. Stackhouse is a big reason. Stop hating on Stackhouse when he has dismissed his selfish ways for the most part in Dallas. He can be selfish at times, but who isn't.
