According to reports, the Phoenix Suns as he had a agreement with the Bulls to sign with a Western Conference team. So no to the Nets. Thoughts on this signing?Does this mean Jimmy Jackson falls further behind on the rotation?
No. Jimmy Jackson has shown he is better than Tim Thomas. Tim Thomas is an underacheiver who has actually gotten worse every year
Was he waived or traded? Anyway we still dont have to pay him anymore, at least starting this offseason.

If he had chosen the Nets, he wouldn't get the whole 5 mil I believe it was.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>No. Jimmy Jackson has shown he is better than Tim Thomas. TT got size, with Thomas out, they need some help there.
The thing about TT is that he is a decent player who has had a fat contract earning alot of criticism. This is be a good move for the Suns (TT is good insurance incase of an injury to Marion, Diaw, or James Jones)
I'm happy to have Tim Thomas on the Suns. He seems like all he does is score but we could use someone his size since the only big man we have is Pat Burke right now and we need someone else to help. Thomas should do well here. His points will go up because of Nash and our offense. Where did Jim Jackson come in this? He's already the 10th or 11th man and he didn't even get any PT when Barbosa and James Jones were injured...
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>PHOENIX (AP) -- The Phoenix Suns waived well-traveled swingman Jim Jackson on Wednesday.Last season, Jackson averaged 8.8 points and 3.9 rebounds in 24.9 minutes a game. The Suns acquired him from New Orleans for Casey Jacobsen, Maciej Lampe and Jackson Vroman. Jackson also brought a veteran presence to a young but talented team that won a league-high 62 games and reached the conference finals, where it lost to eventual NBA champion San Antonio. His minutes were cut drastically this year when the club added James Jones and Eddie House, who are averaging a combined 20.6 points and 42.9 minutes. The 6-foot-6, 220-pound Jackson played in 27 games this year, averaging 3.7 points and 2.4 rebounds in 15.6 minutes. His last appearance was Jan. 4 against Philadelphia.Jackson has played for 11 teams in 14 years. He was picked fourth overall by Dallas in the 1992 NBA draft, after Shaquille O'Neal, Alonzo Mourning and Christian Laettner</div>Well there ya go... I liked Jim Jackson here but he just wasn't getting and playing time. He's still good though. I hope someone picks him up so he gets a chance to play.
Jimmy Jackson is a better player than Tim Thomas. Tim has decreased ever sinced he started in the NBA.
Tim Thomas is still young though. I know Jackson is good but we have too many guards and small forwards. He never got any PT even when 2 guys got injured.
Well goodluck with him.... He would of been a nice fit with the Bulls if he wasnt lazy and would listen

No, I just said I think people in their 20's are young...and he just turned 29 a few days ago... he's not old. And 7 years younger than Jim Jackson too.
