It was never that complex so don't make it out to be anything more than it really was. As you asserted, my simpleton mind doesn't think along those lines so my stance was pretty straightforward and that was:

it is laughable for a grown man (who I'm sure, like many of us, has a full-time job, a mortgage to pay, kids to raise, investments to track, etc.) to go on a public forum not halfway into a then 20yr old rookie center's first season (after microfracture surgery) and cry, whine and basically panic about him the way you did. That's it. That's all there really is to it; plain and simple. Nothing more.

I'm not speaking as a moderator, just as a fellow user...but can we put a moratorium on these sorts of "I'm sarcastically bashing the team and players to prove a point about how much bashing there is on this forum" threads? I think the joke and the point have either registered or they never will. Ultimately, though, these threads are no more productive than the actual bashing threads.

I don't purport to speak for everyone, just for myself, of course.
