    I don't really see how anyone can disagree with MIXUM with a straight face here.

    Losing the game tonight would be very very bad for the Blazers.

    Of course...

    (a) We have not lost yet, and
    (b) Even the best teams in NBA history have lost games that they never should have lost

    The refs might suck. We might shoot terribly. The Clippers might hit 17 three pointers.

    A lot can happen, and while I expect us to win by double digits, I don't think that a loss would be any sort of nail in our collective coffin.

    Let's not forget that everyone on that list is among the best basketball players in the world (in the top few hundred). It wouldn't be impossible for a player or two of theirs to have a career night and blow up, while our better players have a rare bad night and struggle simultaneously.

    Gordon and Thornton have talent. Jordan has potential. Davis has between pretty good throughout his career. Should we beat them....surely. But it's by no means something that you can guarantee.

    considering we had a 4 point lead at the end of three qtrs...id say this thread was pretty acurate. infact it was a lot like the wiz game in the first half. the only difference was they hit threes and the wiz didnt.


    you do realize fred jones, brian skinner, and chris novak outplayed the blazers starters (except roy) for a half. thats fairly upsetting to me.

    You're right, the thread was accurate. A loss would be shameful. That's quite accurate.

    Happily, though, the Blazers didn't lose and bring dishonour on all our houses. They blew the Clippers out.
