By young I meant young right now, not young as in he's in his 2nd or 3rd year and he's going to be great.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (nba dogmatist @ Mar 1 2006, 08:24 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>It's actually closer to 6, but i'll let it go. Phoenix just signed Andrew Barrett to a 10 day contract..If Im not mistaken doesnt that fill up their last roster spot leaving them unable to sign Thomas after releasing Jackson earlier in what many thought was a move made to make room for Thomas..

Yeah, my mistake, they have room for both Thomas and Barret..I figured they released Jackson to make room for Thomas and got Barret instead, however, they still have one more open roster spot..

There are still options for NJ, though. Im dissapointed in the Tim Thomas situation, but hopefully Thorn attempts to sign some of the better FA's avaible...A guy that really atracts attention from me is Marcus Haislip, who has been playing terrific ball in Europe, and Marcus Fizer, who has been tearing up the D-league..Both would be nice additions off the bench and could help out..

Tim Thomas has scored 5 points in his first 3 minutes as a Suns on 2/2 shooting. I'm liking him already. Nice defensive play too.Another reason to be excited about him this year: He's playing for a contract for next year. [IMG]

TT with 20 points in 20 minutes with some great shooting. I love that guy. Great new addition. He didn't do anything else, 0 rebounds, assists, blocks, steals, but I think he will be a nice bench player to have. I'm sorry Pat Burke but you have been Jim Jackson-ized. [IMG]

He wanted to play. Chicago said they wouldn't release him unless he went to a team in the West.Wow, 20 points in 20 minutes! haha, he didn't record one other stat except fouls tho. That's right goose eggs for: rebounds, assists, steals blocks, and turnovers. [IMG]

It's okay if he doesen't do much other than that. He's a big man that can really help. It was something new to me to see a tall guy on our team move like that since Amares been gone and we had Burke, Grant and Kurt.
