i don't know why Miami does this with Marion's contract coming off the books.........Jermaine O'Neal is done...........
I have sudden urge to do this................................................................................But...................... I dun........................no.................w...........h...............y
Wow, great trade if BC pulls it off. Bargnani is playing like a star and O'Neal + Jamario's performances are laughable.
It works for us if we get rid of Jamario too. I'm a huge Moon fan, but he's been playing like shit. If we could kill two birds with one stone, I say do it. Marion gives us rebounding, defense and can rack up points in bunches. I just hope Riley can agree.
lol, of course you do. This might be a case where the lack of attention given to the sole Canadian NBA team works in our favour. I can't believe anybody would be stupid enough to ask for Jamario Moon unless they were watching highlight reels and statistics. If we can add him in and not have to take back Banks' contract, I'll be all over it.
The Heat won't give up Mario. But I agree with Chutney. They probably don't watch Moon enough to realize that he doesn't give you that much. I hate how he plays and I know he can be better. If he drove every time he got the ball, it would either be a dunk or a foul. The dude is an amazing athlete. I don't understand why guys who can get to the rim shoot jumpers when the come to Toronto. Example Fred Jones.
The Fred Jones thing was just stupid. BC brought him in thinking we'd be a fast-paced team and he could finish/initiate a lot of those breaks for us. But after about a month, we realized that Smitch couldn't coach up-tempo basketball and we morphed into a halfcourt, 3 pt. shooting team that spread the court. Jones didn't fit in with that style at all and it brought out the worst in him. I used to get pissed off at Jamario's refusal to drive, but I've been watching him a lot more closely this season and I think he just lacks the dribbling ability to drive in the first place. Joey Graham had the same problem when he first came in the league and it took around 3 years before he developed enough dribbling ability to be comfortable taking it to the rim. Of course Joey worked at it. It doesn't look like Moon's even recognized the shortcoming, let alone tried to fix it.
I know we cant get Mario. Now that the Raptors are playing well, these next 7 games decide our season.
Don't really see what the difference is between those two trades. You're essentially getting the same amount of money off the cap, but you get two crappier players on your roster in the meantime.
