For what it's worth, Nate is averaging 20 PPG the past 4 games and shooting over 50% from the field.

Brook Lopez is also averaging 35 MPG since Yi went down - 5 more minutes than his average.

So, more minutes for Brooks = bad record for the Nets? They won 1 game after Yi got injured.

Back to Nate, that guy is like a mascot. My point was Nate is up and down, just like Yi is up and down. However, because Nate doubles as the Knicks mascot, he get a free pass to every bad game. His stats for the month of Jan is terrible.

The Nets would likely have a similar record even if Yi never got injured.

Every player in the league has up and down games. The difference is Nate has more good games than bad games and Yi has more bad games than good games. You mention his January stats as if they sum up the whole season, neglecting his averages of 15 and 20 PPG in the previous month. Nate's cold streak was in January, hence his stats are going to look unattractive. He is the main reason why the Knicks have been playing well of late. It's no surprise why he's a serious candidate for Sixth Man of the Year.

the nets could have a winning record if they ddint lose yi. yi is having a good year for his 2nd season. every part of his game is better. with brook lopez able to score inside and man the paint, yi can help brook by spreading the defense to the 3pt line. brook's offense is limited but for a rookie hes doing really good. next season the both of them could potentially be 15pt scorers with good defense.

Nate Robinson is definitely looking like a bust these days, Malorkayel.
