Yeah, I got that this morning. I just started navigating until I found the regular site and then re-bookmarked. If Denny or one of his ilk could fix it, it would be greatly appreciated.
wow so how do i make the site be half way navigable? why do people always have to fuck with a good thing?
Try removing the "www." from your shortcut and I believe that show work. That was the only difference I noticed between my old shortcut (that gave me that horrid page) and the new shortcut which is the "regular" view. Then again, I didn't look too close but I did notice a note about the www being redirected whereas the sportstwo (minus the www) is not. Gramps...
++ I want to be taken directly to the damn forum and not some sports news summary page. Its a pain in the ass to scroll through when reading on my blackberry in the car.
Just navigate to "Forums" then find the "Portland Trail Blazers" link towards the bottom. Click it and re-bookmark it.
The admins have been working on a new version of the forum page for a while now... the links must have been switched around. It's my understanding that our forum home would NOT be replaced without significantly more discussion. I'll look into it... Ed O.
In the meantime, this link still works as always: http://sportstwo.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=123 Ed O.
One thing I learned from this . . . I've never really been to the "home" page on this site until this morning. It's just ludicrous how much activity the Blazers forum has compared to all of the other teams! Last I checked, there were 60+ people in here and the next highest number was . . . 1 for several other teams. Wow. Either Blazermania is going strong or none of us have lives!!!
didn't some blazer fan on here register ripcitytwo as a redirect? I think its as simple as updating that link for the redirection????
It's critical mass, right? Let's say there were five or even ten of us who posted regularly... would each of us be on here nearly as often? I don't think so... we simply can't post often enough to entertain the other four (or nine). With fifty or sixty contributors? Then it starts to get more interesting because you know that someone(s) will be on and posting at any hour of the day or night... which makes logging in and posting more fun, which helps fuel others participating, too. We are fortunate to have a Blazers community that has reached something like critical mass. It's not for everyone, and it's not without its faults, but it's entertaining, at least Ed O.
Yeah, I'm guessing this was just a mistake, since the admins mentioned not switching the format of the home page of this place, due to most people preferring the forum view.
Yeah, I expressly said I wasn't gonna change the home page and I meant it. So, um, I dunno what happened. We'll get it sorted out pretty quick though. In the meantime, err.. just hang tight, and sorry for the confusion.
