i love em both but i gotta go with AI. he's " 6' " but i don't think he is. he has had almost every injury you could think of and he still comes to play every night. a guy his size should not be putting up 28 points on an average night. that proves how great he is.

AI. Although this is very close, I gotta give it to AI. His toughness and insanse scoring ability puts him ahead. But in 2-3 years, watch out for Wade, as if you haven't been watching.

I got to go with Allen Iverson. The guy scores more than Dwayne, and turns the ball over less, which is incredible considering the amount of time he has the ball in his hands. He has a better jump shot, as he scores a solid 10 points per night on 10 foot fadeaways, all the way out to three pointers. As scary as it is, Allen is a better scorer, he steals the ball more, meaning he is more effective in his style of defence, and averages more assists with worse teammates. AI gets it now, but 3 years from now, Dwayne will be in a class of his own with LeBron

Wade is a better team player, he does more things to help his team and is a better defender..Hes also younger, more explosive and stronger than AI..Iverson is having a great year, yet he still takes the majority of his teams shots, Wade, on the other hand, is more of a team player and his team, therefore is more succesfull..

hmm..good comparison. Who would I take? Iverson. Just because of his ability to dissect a defense, he has one of the best jumpers in the game. Wade does too. I say they are about equal at that. Iverson has the best crossover in the league, he is able to just drive past people. Wade is called flash for a reason. He is so quick, he just goes right through the defense before they can react. They are both bad at 3 pointers. I think they are similar players. But the passing ability leads my answer to The Answer. AI can just drive then kick it out to his teammates. He is a great passer. He has the ability to score over 30 or 35 almost every game and not be a ball hog. The ability that few have. He gets his players open looks. AI is better at stealing the ball but that is because he usually goes for the ball. Wade is the much better man on manb defender. The two are pretty much equal in what I have just said but this is really why I pick AI.Allen Iverson has the experience and leadership that Wade does not have yet. The swagger of leading his team to the NBA Finals that few have. Who else was on that sixer team that AI led to the FInals? Eric Snow? They had a very weak team. Wade has shown that he can lead a team without Shaq but he is not on the same level as AI on that. Year after Year Allen has been given a mediocre team and most years he turns it into a playoff team. So the answer to this question IS THE ANSWER!

Iverson wins this one but in years to come if we had this same debate. Wade would probably win it. Iverson has a great scoring ability and so does Wade but Iverson does it better and Iverson is a great ball handler and doesn't make as many mistakes as Wade does. Wade still has som work to do but he is getting better and better each game. With Shaq there with him he is improving or at least Shaq makes him look about better.

Iverson right now is the best because of his experience, his toughness, and his all around game.

This is pretty funny. Wade is an Allen Iverson but taller, stronger, and a better basketball mindset. Meaning, he has better shot selection and has become dominant now without the ball.

For everything Ai does on offense he lets more on the other side. Can everyone Shut the <Censored> up about the sixers being a weak team? For gods sake, shut up. You know nothing about basketball if you think they were weak.Name me one thing they didn't have.MVP- AIDPOTY- MutomboRole players- Snow, Mckie etcCoach of the year- Larry brown. And they were on course for a better record before Ratliff was traded. So next time do not make assumtpions and look at stats and say a team is weak.edit: in 2001 sixers let in 90-ppg. Now it's a hundrerd. Larry brown had a huge impact on that team.

Not to mention McKie was the 6th man of the year that season. George Lynch was also a defensive stopper, that got garbage points. While they weren't as good as the Heat of today, they are underrated by fans today

Yes you tell the truth. You obviously didn't compare to their opponents ppg that year to this years. That is the legacy of larry brown.

For this season? Allen Iverson. He's putting up the best numbers of his career and has been injury free.
