I see what you mean. But you know what I mean. Outlaw has taken THREE shots (Memphis, Atlanta, Detroit) in the final 10 seconds of a game in which the shot would win the game if it went in and he hit all three. There are no other games in which we entrusted the final potential game winning shot to Travis and he missed. He's 100%.
Some Blazer fans do that to at least one player every year. This year it's Outlaw last year it was Jack. I get upset with Outlaw sometimes but I think he is a clutch player and can dominate a game if he is on. I wouldn't mind keeping him if he would settle for a bench player but from the Quick article this summer it sounds like Outlaw wants to be a starter in the future. I just like Outlaw coming off the bench.
Outlaw gets ripped on this board more than any other player. I think a lot of it is unfair, I'm guessing the cousin thinks it's unfair . . . so i could see how he draws the general conclusion that at least on this board, posters hate Travis. It's a phase that is used alot . . . I was just telling someone the other day "all police hate me"
I like Travis. He seems to be a nice guy and his teammates like him. However, he's frustrating to me because I think he can do more, but chooses not to. With that athleticism and length, he should be a lockdown defender, but he regularly loses his man. He should be able to take anyone to the hole, but he settles for fadeaway jump shots. I want Travis to become the player he should, but after six years I don't think that's going to happen. And given the makeup of this team--lots of passing to find the open man, high BBIQ, etc--I just don't see much of a future for him here.
I was being sarcastic, holmes. I like Travis for what he brings, I am just realistic about my expectations... that ain't hatin'. 'one crazy'... wonder who you might be referring to?
