I haven't ever posted a game thread over here, here you go guys! This stretch has been too much fun not to say something about. The Wolves have been winning games in bunches lately, including a couple impressive wins against the Suns (on the road) and the Hornets. Al and Foye have picked it up a tremendous amount, especially Big Al, who is making a strong case for the All Star Game in February. Another nice surprise has been the recent play by Kevin Love, who is averaging a double-double this month in limited minutes. All in all, this team is impressing me more and more as the month goes on.

And a team comes in that we had our way with last time, the Detroit Pistons. Last time we saw these guys, they were new with their scorer, Allen Iverson. I'm thinking as long as we are able to contain him and one other big scorer, we should be in a spot to fight for a victory. Not automatically win, but fight.

X Factor: Rebounding- The Pistons are going to be going up against one of the better rebounding duos in the NBA in Al Jefferson and Kevin Love, and the big guys down low need to be ready. The big issue with the starting big men is that they're averaging as many rebounds combined as Big Al is alone. They will need to prepare

X Factor: Defend The Perimeter- The Pistons can score the ball, and they can score in bunches. AI, Stuckey, Prince, and Rip off the bench all know how to score from the perimeter. They all know how to both shoot the basketball, and drive it inside for a foul or a layup. The Wolves have always had trouble defending teams like this, and they will need to come prepared to end those troubles when they play this squad.

    Key Matchup

The two guys who know how to score the most ways on the floor will just happen to be going up against each other. While one guy is just starting to find his niche with his team, the other is struggling to develop chemistry and it is starting to get to the point where it seems as if it won't work. Either way, both AI and Fourth Quarter Foye can put the ball in the hoop. Whether it's driving to the hoop or setting up for three, they can get it done. It will be interesting to see the two of them go at it.

Nice job Tim. Let's see if the TWolves can keep their streak going. Too bad Flip isn't coaching Detroit anymore. That would have been an interesting subplot with McHale coaching against his former employee.

Great job on the write up Tim...just awesome!

It sucks that we lost this one, but our team is still looking great as a whole. And Love is still doin' the damn thang to the tune of 17points 10 rebounds and 4 assists in just 25 minutes off the bench!!! Yet for some unknown reason to me...he didn't make the Rookie/Soph game!!!

Yeah, I had to create a post on that one...I'm so frickin' pissed!!! If Big Al doesn't get in....I don't know what I'll do!!!
