With the one the other day found in Los Angeles where a father killed his 5 kids, his wife, and then himself and the one in Wednesday where 4 people were killed (including kids age 5 and 8), do you guys think we'll be seeing more of these horrible scenarios as people fall further into debt in our economic down fall? These economic issues are hitting home harder than ever and it is starting to turn into just horrible, sad, and disgusting situations. The father in Los Angeles had 5 kids he killed. A set of twins that were two years old, a set of twins that were 5 years old, and then an 8 year old. 3 girls, 2 boys. He then murdered his wife before killing himself. It is just fucking disgusting. I am speechless that this fucking coward had to take his family with him. He was in money debt and probably viewed it as he was saving his family from his debt and probably convinced himself that they couldn't live without him, so he acted in a disgusting manner and terminated the lives of his loved ones. I don't know much about the Ohio case, as it was just reported today. But two families involved in a murder/suicide case in the same week isn't that common. How much worse will this get? Shit is about to hit the fan for people in this country as they are running out of their reserves and falling deeper into debt and economic peril. What a sad, sad situation.
I'd vote for the fact that the second one was influenced by the first. Second guy saw the story, empathised and thought it was the only way out for him and his family too.
It is true that suicides go up after one is reported in the media. Especially so if its a celebrity. Its like a chain reaction. I'm sure its the same with these kinds of situations.
Is it me or the people who commite Murder/Suicide get the order backwards? It would make alot more sense if they do Suicide, then Murder
If they had the power to bring people back to life, why would you want to bring the guy who killed some people back to life? Why not bring back the other people? I might be posting drunk right now, but im sober enugh to ask this question
The US military is reporting an all time high for suicide cases. http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/02/01/military.suicides/
