East Reserves Paul Pierce, Chris Bosh, Joe Johnson, Danny Granger, Devin Harris, Rashard Lewis and Jameer Nelson West Reserves Dirk Nowitzki, Pau Gasol, Tony Parker, Brandon Roy, Shaquille O'Neal, Chauncey Billups and David West No Nash, no Vince, no Al Jefferson, no Ray-Ray, no Melo, no T-Mac, no Deron... For some reason Chris Webber said Bosh is [arguably] the best big man in the game. Pretty much confirms that he doesn't watch the Raps.
Here are the starters for anyone not paying attention... Selected to start for the East -- through the 2009 NBA All-Star Balloting Program presented by T-Mobile -- were the Celtics' Kevin Garnett, the Detroit Pistons' Allen Iverson, the Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James, Orlando's Howard and Miami's Dwyane Wade. The Lakers' Kobe Bryant, the Spurs' Tim Duncan, the Hornets' Chris Paul, the Suns' Amar'e Stoudemire and the Houston Rockets' Yao Ming, will start for the West.
If Jose doesn't get injured for however many games, and we're at least a little bit more competitive for the past month (not a stretch, if you consider how shorthanded we've been), he's a lock as an All-Star reserve right? AI being on that team is a travesty.
He's having a better statistical season than Jameer in almost every category. The missed games and strict bias against non-playoff teams, are really the only thing working against him.
Talent wise, maybe, veyr very versatile. Problem, dude can't finish a game. This is Jose and Andreas team.
WTF? why is Bosh an all star when Raps best player has been Bargs? and why is bosh an all star and NOT DAVID LEE? fuck man bosh didnt deserve it, the only reason why his a all star is because of his Gold medal!!!!!
Also the thousands of people who voted for him might be a reason he's in. But that's just me speculating.
