I believe it'll be the same kind of ball we always see where we chuck nothing but outside shots, don't play defense, don't rebound, and we just trade baskets when we're hot. I believe the Warriors to have one of the most atrocious defenses in the nba.

OMG, just when I think the Warriors aren't going to do anything but run in place, they win it! On the road!

How big is that!??? Wow! I'm kicking myself for having left the tv at halftime.

Well, this game was interesting to watch. It was nice to get a win.

On the one hand, I really want to take my hat off to Maggette/Crawford/Jax, who I've been riding for a while now. They were clutch in the 4th quarter and they won the game for GS. Maggette's one-man scoring run in the 4th, along with Jax's incredible D on West and Crawford's clutch jumper in Peja's face with 15 seconds to play, all made for a spectacular finish.

On the other hand, the same 'ol is still true. Those three players combined for 9 turnovers, including several silly passes and and a few drives into no man's land in the first half. Also, all three shot poorly: Jax 6/17, Mags 6/16, Crawford 4/13. Jax+Craw just settled for outside jumpers as usual, bricking many. Mags, however, was bricking both outside jumpers and layups. Until the 4th quarter when he took over the game.

However, when I look at Craxette's combined 16/46 (34.7% FG), and then I look at Biedrins who went 6/7, and Monta, who went 6/12, I wonder "why can't we get them the ball more?"

Really, though, if you look at how the Warriors played the game tonight -- the type of shots they got, the ball movement, the team defense, the execution -- they didn't play that great of a game. The Hornets just played terrible, which is hard to fathom. The Hornets somehow shot only 35.9% FG and only 23.8% from three. And it wasn't really great defense: Peja was 3-11 and West was 5-16. The Warriors did get some hands on some passes, and you had Turiaf trying to jump out of the gym to block every possible shot attempt, and JAx forced West into a turnover late in the 4th. But otherwise, the Hornets were bruising GS inside and Paul was able to get into the lane at will. They just couldn't make a shot.

Bottom line is that if the Hornets play even a half-decent game, and shoot even something like 38%, they win the game. They just flopped tonight. But it was great to see the Warriors scrap it out in the 4th, despite the sloppy game, and to watch Craxette seal the deal.
