Who do you think is the most underrated player in the league right now.For me, it's Josh Howard. He's a crazy defender, and no one seems to notice that he's been puting up 15 ppg. He is a major part of Dallas' success this year.Another underrated player is Michael Redd. He still doesn't get the respect he deserves whil scoring 25 a night. Rip Hamilton made the ASG over him? oh please..
I agree with Josh Howard. 2nd Fav. player in my list.No one is showing him any love. Averaging 16.0 PPG. 6.8 RPG Shooting 47% FG and is averaging 1 steal per game.

david lee. this dude is the man. just his presence on the floor elevates everyone else. too bad larry brown hasn't played him as much as he should. when he gets the time he produces. he'll be a great rebounder.
I agree with Josh Howard. He is never talked abuot on this board, or by "anylists" He is a solid defender and scores alot of points. Great finisher
I like Josh Howard and Micheal Redd for picks. Howard is developing into a great player and Redd is the best shooter next to Ray Allen in the league.
I don't know if Redd is that underrated. Everyone considers him a great shooter, but does he really do much more than that? He is decent at getting to the rim, and is a decent defender, but for the most part is simply a shooter. That's what people see him as, and considering he hasn't taken the Bucks anywhere, he deserves the credit he gets

Michael Redd is a great scorer but he plays in Milwaukee with an average team so he doesn't get much attention, not to mention is probably the worsr defensive SG in basketball.
Uhh i would have to say Fred Jones.Fred Jones is never mentioned and hes a great player. He really produces for the Pacers and is really helping us through our troubles right now.
I like the Fred Jones pick. He was a key part of their success last year. They were very short-handed, and he and Jamaal tinsley held that team together for the second half of the year.
Yeah Tinsley was having a great year and Freddy was doing great as a starter.Hes doing amazing as a bench player now though.
I think it's gotta be Andre Miller, even though he is not a great shooter, he has a high basketball IQ. We almost never here about him and some might not put him in the top 15 or 20 pg's. He averages 14 and 8.5. Which is amung the best I think. He gets overhsadowed by the Nuggets frontcourt but he is the one holding the team together. And i think he has been helping out Camby a lot this year. Getting him for open mid range shots which Camby can make most of the time.
This Wizards team is basically an All-Underrated team. No one really knows that we have 3 good players in Butler, Arenas and Jamison. All three of them are extremely underrated, and the Wizards as a team dont get talked about much considering that fact that they really dont get enough national exposure on TV. But that changes tonite when the play the Sixers on ESPN.
Does anyone ever notice how most lists of underrated players include a lot of famous dunk contest winners. Dominique, Desmond Mason(used to be underrated), Jason Richardson, Fred Jones
Josh HowardTroy MurphyMarcus CambyJeff FosterThese guys are capable of putting up big numbers, but their play off the ball and on defense goes unnoticed sometimes. In fact, Camby was arguably the best center in the NBA for the first couple of months of the season.
Last season it was Elton Brand, but now he's getting the rrespect he deserves. But for this season, it'd be... I don't know? Caron Butler?
