I tried to support Van Horn here for his stay, I thought he was the perfect backup to Dirk, a Dirk-lite. But this guy flat out loses his balls during games. Mavs need to let him go come offseason, and only concentrate on resigning Terry, DA, Benga. Then address the backup pf role with the upcoming draft.

Resign DA for an assistant coach but not as a player. Yeah I agree that Van Horn sucks and that Dallas should use the pick for the back up power forward and let Van Horn go.

Van Horn, where to start, overpaid. 15 mill this season, wtf, we could have kept Finley or Nash with that amount of money. He is def offseason trade material, or just dont resign. Van Horn can play decent ball throught out the game but then he chokes, he cant keep consistant during crunch time when stuff like that is needed. DA, is a great guy. It was hard enough to resign him last offseason because of his plans in being a coach, theres no shot at getting him as a player or coach in the future with Dallas. He spent his prime with the Magic, the odds are him going there
