    Yeah well, Pierce did the same thing last year and it was nothing. (no I don't think he acted the entire thing out)

    Players sometimes get freaked out from injuries, and sometimes the initial pain is strong, but that doesn't mean the injury is serious.

    pau, odom, luke, vlad, ariza, and mihm is still a good frontcourt.

    say hello to 35ppg kobe till bynums gone, or maybe odom can get 20/10/5 again? either way, lakers are good, but daam, bynumless lakers in the playoffs wont be cool

    Kobe doesn't need anything close to 35 PPG without Drew, what he's doing since December is just fine. Odom will take more responsibility and Ariza is still around at least.

    Haha, wish him well Thrilla. Thanks for not trolling, I don't think Mamba could've taken that today. :)

    Anyways, good news. They interviewed him after the game. He says the injury was no where near as bad as the injury last season. He says he can apply pressure and walk, but the medical staff just wants him on crutches for precaution. He also seemed very upbeat and happy when he was being interviewed. He smiled a lot, and after the interview, he also joked around with shirtless Lamar Odom, who was showing off his bod to the cameras. If you remember last year, that didn't happen.

    So, like James Worthy said, all this is good news. I wish him the best, but this injury shouldn't be too bad.

    Looks like the injury bug made the trip from Utah to LA, best of luck to Bynum and hopefully he'll be fine. I don't buy that you guys will be fine w/o Bynum against the West though, he's the reason your the best in the West right now.

    Albeit it's only a hyper extended knee though....

    We're the best in the west with or without Bynum. We steamrolled the West last year without him, so the West is not a problem. Regular season is not a problem, if he's out for the rest of the season, we'd still finish as the #1 seed in the west (unless another key player gets injured). Postseason is when we absolutely need to have him playing.
