^^^that won't happen........he might be out for a few weeks, but I don't think he's done for the year.............if he's healthy by the post season I wouldn't sweat it that much................

Doesn't matter, he's not the reason we're favorites in the West, Bynum is our trump card in the Finals. We're supposed to win the West regardless.

I think you guys will need him to get past San Antonio on the post season............Spurs have made improvements since last year and Manu will be healthy..................

Yeah and they had Manu last year too; they aren't winning in LA.

Manu isn't good enough to get those wins over "here" (I'm in Miami but you get what I mean :)), and we have a competent SF now with Ariza who's better overall than Mason.

    Re: Andrew Bynum Injury Thread

Do you guys think his injury could be similar to that of Karl Malone? Didn't he sprain his knee as well? I dunno, brain is kinda fuzzy...

I think he'll be out a few weeks, maybe a couple of months. Just a rough estimate from what I heard though.

And thank God your just some dude who has an opinion. There is no way San Antonio beats us, even without Bynum.

I think it isn't as serious as we're expecting. I think he'll be back in about 3-4 weeks.

If Bynum is out, I hope KG misses Thursday's game as well.

    Re: Andrew Bynum Injury Thread

If he was able to walk on it after the game, approximately 2 hours after the injury, I didn't think it was that serious to begin with. He's obviously going to miss time but it's not gonna be as serious as his injury last year.

I expect him to be back after the allstar break, but who knows, just a guess on my part.

    Re: Andrew Bynum Injury Thread

As a Seahawks fan I saw Matt Hasselbeck go down with a similar injury a couple years ago. It was a MCL sprain and he was out for 4 weeks.

He walked on it to the locker room because you can still walk forward and not feel a lot of pain. It's moving laterally that takes time to recover. That's the big thing.

Hasselbeck is also just a QB and doesn't exactly have to move like Bynum, so Bynum could be longer. Who knows.

    4-6 weeks is actually realistic.
