Source Whole Interview I know its Stephen A. smith, but you can actually see this becoming a reality with the way his playing. Smith also mentions that Heat want Bosh rather then JO. If thats true then the reason for heat wanting Moon is because of matchin salaries. So I guess the trade will be: Toronto gets: Marcus banks, Marion Miami gets: Bosh and moon Miami becomes an instant championship contender, raps hit the lottery for the 2nd time in 3 years!
Re: Bosh leaving raptors lol Why would you take it in the ass when you can get a deal similar to KG one, maybe better? Bosh is a top player, I'm sure you can do better than Marion & Banks while giving up Moon.
Re: Bosh leaving raptors Couple of thoughts: 1) I'm very very very hesitant to believe anything Stephen A. Smith reports. The dude's slowly lost almost all credibility over the past couple years (he lost his show, his newpaper job, and most of his airtime on ESPN). He doesn't have a very good reputation with among NBA players and I have a hard time believing he'd be this close to Bosh or anyone around him. 2) Bosh is a year and a half away from making this decision on his own. I'm not sure why he'd all of a sudden demand this from BC when he could go around the middle man and choose his destination in a very short amount of time. Additionally, in a year and a half there's the chance that the Raptors would be forced into a sign-and-trade with a team he wants to go to (in an attempt to get something back), which would give him the money only we could offer him along with the team he wants to play for. He'd have his cake and eat it too. I bet his agent must be emphasizing this. 3) If Bosh wants to go, so be it. He's a talented player, a good guy, and someone you can build around. But he's also a significantly flawed player that hasn't seemed to pick up on his weaknesses yet. I partly blame the fact that he developed under Sam Mitchell, but what are you going to do. The Raptors could get a lot of assets in any foreseeable trade and losing Bosh isn't the same as losing Lebron/Wade, etc. 4) Did Stephen A. call our GM Blyan Colangelo?
lol okay, its fine by me, thank you. Anyways the way bosh played last night kinda showed that he doesnt care. At the start of season he had high scoring games and stuff but now his not as effective. He just doesnt seem like the leader he was 2 years ago. I wouldnt mind raps getting rid of him for someone good and this is deja vu again for raps same thing happend with Carter
Yeah, denials don't mean anything regarding sports trade rumors. Maybe Bosh just told Colangelo early, so he could still try to get some value back for him. I would like the Bulls to try to do Luol Deng, Tyrus Thomas, and Joakim Noah as the base package for Bosh. Sweeteners could be Nocioni (you guys reportedly like him for some reason), Thabo Sefolosha, or Drew Gooden (in exchange for one of your bad contracts).
I was watchin City Tv and the score they talked to bosh and BC and BC didnt look 2 happy at all, he was denying but it was convincing at all, Im pretty sure sum shit with down probebly frustration but bosh had said "everyone has to b politically correct" or something in that line so he might not have said he wants to be traded but he probebly did say sumthing!
I'll tell you what does mean something. A consistent history of denials and failed predictions that follow every single one of your rumours. Stephen A.'s reports these days smack of desperate attempts to get airtime, as he faces his growing irrelevance. He's as useless as Bucher, Vecsey, Smith, etc.
Something didn't even have to have gone down. Stephen A. Smith has made a living out of sniffing out struggling organizations/players and kicking them while they're down. Hearing SAS report bullshit about his team has to force him to realize how much of a failure this season has been.
Re: Bosh leaving raptors Ouch, you really know how to get at someone's soul. I think your points are mostly valid though, and I'll keep them in mind. Wow that would be sad if it were true. I wish Bosh would stay with you Guys, I'd like to see the Raptor organization grow since I like you people, lol.
The Raptors, of all teams, need to be weary of trying to make roster moves to keep a star player happy.
Toronto fans have been driving Screaming-A nuts (more so?) since he ragged on the Villanueva pick years back. No doubt he likes sticking this one in our craw. If Bosh comes out and says he wants to be a Raptor for life, SAS will say he's towing the company line. If he re-signs, SAS will say he had a change of heart, or was motivated by money. That's what makes rumour mongering in the sports business so easy--no accountability, lots of attention.
Stephen A. Smith is a big douchebag. Honestly when he interviews people he yells questions at them, what kind of asshole does that?
