As DaRizzle can inform you, I'm a Blazer fan and there is no team I hate more than the L*kers. That being said, as a fan of basketball, I'm really sorry to hear about Bynum's injury. You guys have an amazing team and it's unfortunate that a freak play is going to hurt your front line so badly.

On a selfish note, I keep looking forward to Bynum and Oden going head-to-head. It's going to be the best big man matchup over the next decade. Can we keep these two on the floor, please?

Okay, back to my L*ker hating. I just wanted to pause the rivalry for a second and wish Bynum a speedy recovery.

They're projecting Bynum out 8 to 12 weeks, if we're lucky. Last year they expected him back after he injured his knee and it neve happened.

I feel really bad for the kid, he must feel cursed after suffering similar injuries at the same point in the season. Just when Bynum was getting back to the level he was playing at last year he gets injured again on a freak play.

Very big of you, I think most of the time I would feel bad for an other opponent but I'd make some exceptions for assholes. :)

That sucks, Odom starts at the 4 and you lose some depth. The Lakers still have a great team and a great coach. It looked like they could have used Bynum last season against the Celtics. I still think it's anyones trophy. Match ups determine a lot in the playoffs. Both player and team match ups.

Yeah, I tried to watch the finals but it was pretty boring. How could Nelson make 3 stars I loved before teaming up look so ugly offensively? I knew Thibideau would make the Lakers play Kobe ball. I did catch the last 6 minutes of the best games luckily, which still weren't that good.

I guess anythings better than that joke they call the 2007 NBA Finals.

    ^LOL

But there are a number of upsides when you look at Bynum's injury.

    1. It puts Kobe at par with LeBron on the MVP race. Back to Back MVP? I'd prefer a championship.
    2. Bynum won't get injured again from now until the playoffs :biglaugh:
    3. If the report is true and Bynum comes back between 8-12 weeks (i say 10/11 weeks, im thinking positive here) then there is a chance he can get some burn just before the playoffs (there are exactly 10 weeks before the Lakers play Memphis and Utah on the 12th and 14th of April respectively, 11 weeks and the regular season is over, 12 weeks and the playoffs have just started) and we'd be at full strength by then.
    4. If Bynum returns during the playoffs he could use our Western matchups as his warm - up (we can beat them all without Bynum, e.g. Last year) so that come the finals (against the celtics, cavs or magic) he'd be 100%.
