Most points ever scored in the history of MSG.

    61. Beat out MJ, beat out Bernard King.

Still the best player in the NBA

    Kobe Bryant.

I hope fans are convinced with this performance. Kobe is the best.

LeBron, in his lifetime, will never shoot 20-20 from the free throw line. Mark my words.

Lebron's a better player than Kobe right now. One game doesn't prove anything.

0 rebounds. Clearly, not the best.

I'll take 30 more points over 5 rebounds (his average) anyday.

    If you ignore Lebron.

    PPG: Lebron 27.7 > Kobe 26.6
    RPG: Lebron 7.5 > Kobe 5.6
    APG: Lebron 7.0 > Kobe 5.2
    SPG: Lebron 2.0 > Kobe 1.3
    BPG: Lebron 1.3 > Kobe 0.3
    FG%: Lebron 49.1% > Kobe 47.5%
    3PT%: Kobe 34.9% > Lebron 29.5%
    TS%: Lebron 58.0% > Kobe 56.8%
    WS: Lebron 10.9 > Kobe 7.6
    PER: Lebron 31.4 > Kobe 24.6

Their teams had the same record going into tonight. Now the Lakers have 1 more win than the Cavs, but played 1 more game.

To say Kobe is better than Lebron is utterly ridiculous. Lebron is a better scorer, rebounder, passer, and defender than Kobe. If you transplant Lebron onto the Lakers, they're probably going for the Bulls record this season.

why does this not surprise me?

see that is the difference, when kobe does these sort of things, people are like yeah thats good, he's still doing what he's been doing, you know, like its no surprise. but if lebron did it, oh man, people would be like, wow, an msg record! who cares if he got no rebounds! he is so good!

that is the difference you non-believers, kobe is kobe, and you cant deny it.

Kobe means more than just his name, its a symbol of greatness, a symbol of dominance, a symbol of a continued force that has yet to be stopped, it is message of hope, a voice of truth, a power yet to be contained, a great leader of devotees. You cannot stop him, you will not stop him, you can only hope to contain him. No man can stand in his way, and no opponent of his will leave in victory, his name is Kobe, a force of greatness, that will not be stopped.

so what your saying is that a great player is defined by how good his sats look? if you are then im sorry to inform you but you know nothing of nba basketball, with that kind of philosophy, oscar robertson is better than mj. now do you honestly beleive that thi argument is going to hold up against history. once these two careers are finished, you will see who is a greater champion, and who is the lesser of the two, because right now, you are blinded by ignorance.

I said Lebron James is a better player than Kobe Bryant right now. He is better in virtually all statistical categories (except three point%, and that's a result of a difference of style), while their teams had the same record coming into today.

    Just disregard specific names.

You know three pieces of information about two players.

Player 1 is better in all statistical categories than Player 2.
Player1's roster is less talented than Player 2's.
Player 1 and Player 2's teams have the same record.

Who would you judge to be having a better season?

    Stats don't mean everything.

Ask anybody around the league, ask Lebron himself, and they'll all say Kobe is the best player in the league. To say Lebron is a better scorer than Kobe is laughable.

I'm not saying Kobe is better than Lebron (my first post was just reaction), I've stated that Lebron has been outplaying Kobe this year multiple times, but to call it "utterly ridiculous" is wrong. They're both pretty much equal, I'll give Lebron the slight advantage because he's been playing at a higher level more consistently this season, but no, it is not "utterly ridiculous."

And Laker fans, don't take his words too seriously. This is the same guy who confidently stated that the Cavs were going to beat the Lakers (didn't even give us a chance) a couple of weeks ago, and obviously that was a fail.

Lebron scores at a greater volume at a greater efficiency. If that's not the definition of a better scorer, I don't know what is.

    lol

Kobe is one of the best scorers to ever play this game. 81 points? 62 points in three quarters? "efficiency" doesn't mean much. I agree Lebron has been more consistent than Kobe this season, read my post. But that doesn't make him a better scorer. Ask anyone around the league who is the most dangerous scorer in the NBA, ask any coach and they'll answer with Kobe's name. Yeah, I'll stick to players/coaches opinions rather than someone who seems to be the laughinstock of BBF.

Like DC said, I guess Oscar is better then MJ than if stats is all you look at. Kobe, with all the offensive weapons he has around him, still manages to stay in reach of Lebron by 2-3 points in ppg.

Saying Lebron is a better scorer than Kobe is a joke.

player 1 plays in the east
player 1 has won nothing except a gold medal, player 2 has 3 rings, 1 mvp, one gold medal
    player 2 defends better

kobe is the best in my oppinion
    stats are nothing here

LeBron barely outscores a deferring Kobe these days, check yourself on that.

LeBron is not a better "scorer", just more consistent this season. Kobe started dead cold then heated up after December. Since that point LeBron has really been trying to throw away that historic PER he had at one point. Further, PER is hardly perfect.

Haha, Trench, I think he was just joking.

Staff doesn't care about your "reported post" either. What a joke.
