Nationally televised game Sunday. It should be another good one. I expect the Mavs to win a close game because it's in Dallas and the Mavs are playing better than the Suns at the moment. The last game they play eachother in the season will be more exciting because hopefully everyone will be healthy and back in with the team. And by everyone I mean Amare. Good luck Rok and Mavsfan.
Im a mavs fan and I have something to say. ahem * clears throat*The Mavericks should win this game. It will be a close game because most likely Josh Howard and Keith Van Horn will not play. But at the same time Devin Harris might be back and he will help on Defense and on Offense against Nash my prediction: Mavs win 118-111
I would exspect Howard to play, just do something like last night play like 10-15 minutes. Griffin is going to need to bring his defence, hes gonna need to shut down Marion and Diaw. Diaw has become a great shooter, someone will need to stop him. Hopefully Mavs can take advantage of their new rotation with Tim Thomas in there, even though he put up 20 his first game as a Sun
Nah, Diaw isn't a great shooter, not at all. He is improving his shooting though but he's good because he can do everything pretty well and gives us mismatches on defense that help us. I like Josh Howard but I don't think he can stop Marion with the way Marion is playing now. I hope Tim Thomas can shoot well like that again because we'll need it. I hope this game is as fun to watch as the other 2.
Suns are missing 3 big men and are using an injured James Jones. All teams have to go through injuries. And you said losing Van Horn is a good thing. And look at that, we are outscoring the Mavs by 7 without Nash but were losing by 7 WITH him. Hmmmm....
Well the mavs losing Van Horn is good but Harris and Howard are big losses though Darrell Armstrong and Marquis Daniels have done a good job so far this game.
Nice finish to the 2nd quarter by the Mavs. Not having either Amare or Kurt is really hurting our defense and rebounding. I hope Pat Burke gets some playing time in the 2nd half because he's our best rebounding and defensive big man right now. And I also want to see some more House and Barbosa. We need one of them to get hot for a while.Well not having Van Horn makes you better so not having Devin Harris is okay. And not having Grant cancels out not having Kurt so we are both missing 1 player and JJ is playing injured.
lol, sure. Not having big men is horrible. We'll have them back by the Western Conference Finals though. The Mavs are doing what the Magic were doing. It's a mixture of bad luck, bad defense and no one to rebound. It's not good. :no3:
Mavs by 8 after 3 quarters. Oh please D'Antoni put House in. Let him get his 7th save of the season! Should be a nice finish.

Mine too. This was a huge win for us. The Mavs are still the best team right now in the west in my opinion but after we get Amare back I have very little doubt that we will be in the Finals if he returns good and we have the 2nd seed. The Suns, like the game vs. Orlando, really stepped up their D in the 4th. When the playoffs come though we desperatly need Amare and Kurt back for defense and rebounding. I know Amare wasn't amazing at those last year but at least he's got size...
Congrats to the Suns. They are a very good team but if I were a suns fan I would dread the spurs still. They seem to have the suns number. The mavs don't have a big man that can post up the suns small team unlike the spurs. Duncan should have his way with them along with Parker owning Nash once again. If the mavs beat the spurs than I would favor the suns over the mavs due to matchups.
I dreaded the Spurs last year. I'm more confident now because we beat them a couple months ago and we'll be getting Amare back. If they beat you guys in the playoffs then they'd be pretty beaten up because I expect you guys to take them to 7 at least if you lose. And we get to play the Nuggets in the 2nd hopefully.
Mavs once again can't put away the team, also I don't understand AJ going small when our big lineup was doing fine and keeping the Suns on a slower pace. AJ gave in to the run and gun, and Suns are simply better then us at that. That's where we lost it.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The mavs don't have a big man that can post up the suns small team unlike the spurs. The mavs don't have a big man that can post up the suns small team unlike the spurs.</div>Dirk was doing fine today in the post. He had some great moves, couldn't finish on some. It was very encouraging. Something he should have did in the Spurs game.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Duncan should have his way with them along with Parker owning Nash once again. That's some good bodies to put up against Duncan.
