I think the worst thing about this is that the playoffs will be that much less fun to watch this year. I don't know if Orlando can be competitive without that guy providing the leadership and play at PG they needed. I was really looking forward to them playing Cleveland or Boston at some point.
I disagree. KG is the best player for us, easily. He deserves it. The other 3 are all equal contributors this year, but Pierce is the go to guy in close games and is usually the biggest reason why we win them down the stretch.
Horrible horrible news. He was having such a great year. To pour your heart into a championship run like he was doing and then to miss his first all star game and lose the chance to take his team all the way? So sad.
Seriously, I'd say put something together that moved Blake, but I really don't see much on their roster that I would want. At least nothing that would be attainable.
He won't be out for the year. He'll likely opt to hold off on surgery which means he'll be back in two-three weeks. And while I'm in here, you guys think we'd give up Pietrus or Turkoglu for Blake? Come on now, we're not stupid.
