All this talk about us getting another PG is strange since it will cause major issues. Lets say we trade sergio and get a PG back.... well we might get a starter but that also means blake is the backup. ok. what happens to bayless? we stop him from developing? just doesn't make sense to me. i guess you want vets in the playoffs but look what zach did for us his first year. im just saying to me...its looks more likely we include sergio to free minutes for bayless and keep blake as our starter for now. with that said...thered lots of talk about making a run now that bynums hurt so who knows. maybe we do want a vet and just let bayless watch. if we make a deal for a stud player...bayless should get tons of garbage time down the stretch anyway. very interesting situation.

i really believe the target is a SF and sergio will just sweeten the deal. It seems like outlaw is def gonna be a part of any deal so I'm assuming we will want a PF back or make another deal to get one.

Am i crazy lol or does this make sense?

I hope that's the case, unless we trade two of our PG's somehow. You're a beacon of common sense in a cold retarded world, mixum. Booya.

Yes, but it won't be Butler.

I would like to meet Mixum some day. Actually, I want to have a party and invite Mixum, Kingspeed, Maris, and PapaG. See who comes out alive.

that wouldn't be a problem with wallace/felton since there would be no commitment to felton.

Your mind is running crazy with the possibilities. You just need to sit back and let it happen. It either will or will not, and then depending on what comes back, then deal with it. Chill. Have a good oregon home brew. Break out the bong. Go kill some zombies online. Nothing to do but wait.

Where did you get that crazy idea. Mitch Kupchak has said they're absolutely not pursuing any trades to replace Bynum while he is injured.

Man this is starting to bother me now. I agree with you again and doubt we trade for a PG unless someone makes us a deal we can't refuse like Harris etc. I said all along we could use a backup banger PF and a SF both before trading for a PG. Butler would be perfect but I really doubt that is going to happen.

A little bit from column A, a little bit from column B.

No but seriously, I can't see us trading for ANOTHER PG. If anything Sergio goes and that leaves us with Blake/Bayless

i still don't think we make a move in season. and if we do, and we get a PG back it's pretty simple. If sergio goes out and player X comes in, blake is cut. If bayless goes out and player X comes in, blake is cut. If we stand pat with the 3 man rotation, blake is cut. and i don't forsee blake being moved unless the team we're trading with wants two of our PG's.

    reread what you responded to.

The OP says make a run at a championship not make a run at Bynum

This is why adding Vince Carter and Keyon Dooling makes more sense.

Nic Batum would certainly not take issue with moving to the bench in place of Carter. Dooling is a keeper for his defense and ability to play shooting guard. Obviously Bayless or Rodriguez would moved in the package to New Jersey, and that would create even more of a logjam, but it wouldn't be as disruptive as say bringing in a Kirk Hinrich that would displace Steve Blake.
