He did score on the play. His interception resulted in 7 points in a 4 point game. And you want to blame the refs? What a complete joke!
if the ball is out and you slap it forward in your throwing motion, it's still a fumble. i don't know that the call on the field would have been overturned and it could have been the correct call, but not taking the extra minute to get as many looks as possible doesn't make any sense. woodley definitely got a piece of the ball before warner got rid of it, the question though was whether or not warner has enough control over the ball to consider it a pass. i still don't know what the call should have been.
VP of officiating said it was a fumble ref saw it after the game and said it was a fumble the ref upstairs it was a fumble but vp said they shouldve sent it down to be 100% win
could you imagine then coming out and saying that wasn't a fumble? after the fact, there is no chance of that happening.
and I am saying that he didnt get into the end zone before being down by contact....everyone focused on his kness, which couldnt touch the ground because they were on top of Fitzgerald, but no one mentioned that his elbow touched the ground before the ball crossed the goalline....an elbow is the same as a knee in the rulebook....down by contact at the 1 yard line, half over....
Also, i looked at multiple replays, seems in every time, you might be thinking the elbow hitting the ground, however, i looked at different replays and it seems he is actually on Larry, thus hits the ground in the endzone. And Al Michaels said this during the game.

where was the facemask and when did it happen? If it was before the pick, and Pitt accepted the penalty, Zona gets the ball back. If it's on the return it's half the distance to the goal.
I'm not sure, i am watching this play over and over to see it, i can't find it, but it was against #74 and i think him was against Lawrence Timmons, and on a 52" HD TV Harrison elbow sides on Fitz. Therefore touchdown counts. End of story.
Regardless lol, the didn't discuss it on the Referee Review on NFL.com, so i assume the call was 100% correct in situation.
It was a throw...congrats to the Steelers though. I also lost 95% respect I had for James Harrison in that game, Dirty ass player. Went so overboard for no reason on that dude. Theres a block and then there is overkill. The thing I have even more problem with is that it wasn't even consider for a review. If your not going to let the coaches challenge within 2 minutes then at least review every key controversial call. That one was at least controversial.
It was an offensive penalty and the half CAN end on an offensive penalty....they were not entitled to another play, and he didn't score....just one of about 20 calls that got botched in a game that featured the "best" officials on earth....I point you back to the title of the post: Worst officiated game ever
http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d80e8fa89 watch it, seriously. and i don't even really care, champions are the steelers.
